For how much it costs and that they tout themselves as a luxury hotel, I expected nicer. It was your basic pool and spa. All the open lounge chairs by the pool were dirty and we had to flag someone down to clean them. The sauna and steam room are inside the locker rooms—we did a spa as a couple so couldn’t use those amenities together. It was not luxurious. Plain, basic. Go to Watershed for more luxury feel.

We stayed at the Four Seasons Minneapolis this past weekend, and while the hotel itself was wonderful, I had a disappointing experience with the spa’s pricing transparency. When I called to book my massage, I was quoted the base price of $225. I knew an automatic gratuity would be added, but my final charge came to $328.68, which didn’t make sense based on gratuity alone. Nothing was mentioned during the phone booking about dynamic pricing, a 2% staff fee, an 18% provider fee, or the additional taxes. These extra charges only appeared in the online cart afterward. The next day, we went back to the spa to ask about the discrepancy, and the staff explained that the price can change depending on how "in demand" a specific massage style is or how busy the spa is on that day. For a brand like Four Seasons, this level of price fluctuation without upfront disclosure feels misleading. Guests shouldn’t have to discover hidden fees or shifting prices after the fact. The massage itself was great, but the lack of transparency overshadowed the experience. If you plan to book here, make sure to confirm the actual final price before scheduling.

Today was my first visit at this Spa. I was greeted by Aliyah when I walked in, she was so kind and genuinely welcoming. The Spa water she offered was the best I’ve ever had in any MN Spa. She gave me a tour of the women’s area, amenities and lounge. The entire space is beautiful. I had the Honey Haven Body Ritual with Jessica, and highly recommend it and her! She won’t disappoint. Kari was so sweet and offered me a glass of bubbles accompanied by macaroons and truffles! The hospitality truly matches the quality of the services and beauty of the facility. I will be back. My lunch was great too! I felt like I was on a vacation but just for four hours. The steam room was just a bit small, that’s all I can really criticize if I had to find something but I made a fellow new-mom friend in there so the company was good!

Cannot recommend this place enough. It is beautiful, relaxing, and luxurious. I got the birthday deal and it was SO amazing. I recommend bringing a swimsuit to be able to use the pool and hot tub, and your facial routine since they do not provide lotions or anything for your face.

I had an exceptional experience here. My original appointment was cancelled due to an injury to my massage therapist so I had to reschedule. They made it so easy to reschedule in a timely manner over the phone. Once onsite, the experience is top tier. The facilities are amazing and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I had an amazing massage and enjoyed the amenities onsite. They went above and beyond and comped my service (without any prompting of my own!) due to the inconvenience of having to reschedule. They are a class act and I could not believe how generous and kind they were. I simply can’t say enough things. They have a customer for life in me!

It’s a true escape in the heart of the city. Highly recommend if you need to recharge or treat yourself!

My Four Seasons Spa experience in Minneapolis was so memorable. As soon as I stepped into the Spa, I was greeted with such kind hospitality and professionalism. As I was escorted to the men’s locker room, I was given a tour of all the amenities offered. Details always matter! From the clean feeling of the abalone rainbow pearl tile in the steam room to the plush lounge chairs in the pool room overlooking downtown… Everything about the facility made me feel in such a relaxed state. While waiting for my massage, I was also offered refreshments prior to meeting my masseuse. The entire staff goes out of their way to make sure your experience is that much more special. My masseuse was absolutely AMAZING! The attention to detail throughout my massage made me want to book my next appointment halfway through my service. I’ve laid on other massage tables in the past but nothing compares to the massage tables at the Four Seasons. From the plush warm padding of the table to the perfect pressure applied during my massage, as a leg pillow is placed underneath my elevated ankles almost put me to sleep instantly. The facilities are pristine and luxurious making it easy for me to let my body recover and recharge for the upcoming week. Lastly, I'm still thinking about the wagyu truffle bacon cheeseburger that I had poolside for lunch. I would travel all the way back to Minneapolis to have that meal again. I'm not exaggerating it was that good! Highly recommended to those looking for an experience that will revitalize the spirit mentally and physically.
