Went to Float for a massage! Also purchased a facial coupon, so will edit this review later whenever I end up getting that. 😁 For the massage: Lydia was AMAZING. Super friendly, sweet, professional, and really worked all my knots and soreness. I was so relaxed I practically fell asleep. 11/10 would recommend. Man at the desk was a bit… confusing (?), but nothing too terrible. He just wasn’t particularly welcoming/helpful until I made it clear I had an appointment. Like, I walked in and he didn’t greet me or ask if I had an appointment or anything. 😅
I had the most incredible experience at Float NOLA! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel so comfortable and cared for. They were kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything, which really helped me relax before my session even started. The environment was spotless, calm, and had such a peaceful vibe you could feel the positive energy as soon as you entered. Once I got into the float, I completely let go and drifted into a state of deep relaxation and clarity that I’ve never experienced before. It felt like my mind, body, and spirit finally aligned total peace. For the first time in a long while, I was able to completely quiet my thoughts and just be. After the session, I felt lighter, refreshed, and so calm like I had pressed a reset button for my whole being. I’m still feeling the benefits today! If you’ve been thinking about trying float therapy, stop thinking and go do it Float NOLA is the perfect place to experience it. You’ll walk out feeling renewed, centered, and grateful you gave yourself that moment of stillness. 💧✨
I was extremely excited to do the float therapy. I had read alot about ot and was looking forward to it. When I arrived the facility was clean and inviting and the man was helpful amd made me feel comfortable. However halfway through the float a shift change occurred and the girl that was working was so loud laughing and talking it ruined my experience and I ended my float myself early nc she was too busy taling to help me. And when I came out her response was undid t use ear plugs? I wasn't aware of any and then she told the man when he arrived back I got early bc of a car being loud which was garbage so I graab ed my complimentary water and left realizing I wasted my experience amd.money on a bunk float nc prove have zero respect for what others may be paying to do at their business
Invigorating. I received a 60-minute facial with Lydia B. She has a soothing approach and her skills were greatly appreciated. I HIGHLY recommend her expertise. The Spa is welcoming with an aromatic, calm environment. Clean, uncluttered and spacious. This was my first visit and definitely not my last. 🌻⚜
I recently heard about flotation therapy and told myself "You know what? I mind as well give this a shot!" Overall, the experience was pleasant indeed! The purpose of float therapy is to close off from the outside world, allowing your mind to unwind and flows freely, releasing dopamine and endorphins from the brain, and your body gets to rest, de-stress, and heal. With each session, float nola provides these amenities: private shower soap, shampoo, conditioner earplugs Towels neck support vaseline hairdryer Overall, if you need to relax your mind and soul, then come to Float Nola!
I've been floating for years and have been going to Float Nola for at least 4 years straight now. Circel is the greatest and the most laid back and knowledgeable person in the business. The tanks are cleaned after every session and both Alpha and Omega pod rooms are immaculately kept. Plus the Ice Plundge is the new icing after a good 2 hour float.
Not a bad experience for visiting Nola. I enjoyed it but did make it know to Cecil that a sliver of light was still entering (after eyes adjusted, I could see a silhouette) and it was difficult for me to stay afloat (neck was over extended and felt a strain). Perhaps needs more salts to increase buoyancy. Cecil (owner) is great though! Thank you for your expertise and showmanship. Will have to revisit when I am back in Nola!
