I feel like people are more inclined to leave a negative review when disappointed than a positive review when happy. The reviews definitely threw me off so I was a bit nervous coming here, but between the Groupon deal and the fact that it's literally across the street from where I'm staying I figured it would be my most convenient location. They do charge you a tax upon arrival but it's a few bucks so whatever. I'm also accustomed to Los Angeles prices so for me this was an absolute STEAL. I loved my massage! My hotel check in is at 3 so I still had my bags with me, and they protected my bags for me while I got my massage. The massage was definitely rough/strong but that's my preference - also the masseuse kept checking in to make sure his pressure wasn't painful. He was clearly a professional masseuse and he also respected my body by ensuring I was covered with the blanket at all times - which I *really* appreciated. I got kind of cold but then he gave me an extra blanket. Go here!

Great massage. Booked the couples 90 minute Swedish massage with hot stones via Groupon. Staff were very friendly. There was a fee for tax. The masseuses have great technique and were able to match our comfort level in terms of pressure. Honestly one of the best massages I’ve had and I would definitely come back again.

Had a Groupon 90 min couples massage here today. It was AMAZING! Exactly what we needed as people who work 12/24hr shifts! We are so grateful they took a thorough approach to kneading and breaking down the knots stretching our bodies and giving complete relief from the tension. Not in manhattan often but I will definitely find my way back here!

The other reviews are true. The massage itself was decent, a little rough at times, but they were gentle with my sister. The lobby is pretty nice but the rest of the place could use a bit of help. We were in the couple’s room all the way in the back and there were cardboard boxes stacked up right next to one of the massage tables, the bathroom had left over construction supplies on the floor. If you want a relaxing massage this isn’t the place for you but if you just need something easy and cheap this could work. I left a 15% tip and they were not satisfied with it, tried to talk me into giving me so i walked out.

Overall, I wasn't pleased with the customer service, specifically with my masseuse. I initially wanted an hour body massage, and opted to do 30 min foot and 30 min body. As this was my first time coming to this establishment, I was not aware that your feet are massaged in the lobby area. I am used to services being done simultaneously in a private room — which provides a more peaceful experience by the way. I just didn't appreciate how the masseuse initiated our first interaction. First impressions are important, and I didn't like the feeling of not wanting to be serviced. I ended up just wanting to leave after my feet were done. Also, I could've gotten that service at any nail salon. I know they couldn't care less, but I will not be back, nor do I recommend. Chelsea Wellness next door is so much better.

I paid $78 total ($55 for the 60-minute massage plus a $23 tip) and the experience was absolutely worth it. The massage was very comfortable and relaxing. My therapist David. He was highly professional and clearly knew what he was doing. The front desk staff was also very professional and patient, which I really appreciated. I do feel a bit sorry that I didn’t have enough cash with me, so I could only leave a $23 tip. By the way I highly recommend calling ahead to make an appointment. They are quite busy. I walked in without calling and waited about five minutes, which honestly wasn’t bad at all. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely come back.

I booked a 90 min and Anna gave me the most amazing massage ever! After a long stressful college semester and working full time this is what I needed! She even stretched me out and helped me losen up the tension in my body! 10/10 I would come back for Anna!
