Renewing Spa

Renewing Spa is a great place to get a really great hour+ long massage. The space is humble, clean, and the ambience is always lovely from incredibly warm Customer Service, to the ambient music playing in the background. I always leave feeling really relaxed and calm for days after a great massage. I’ve been going to Renewing on and off for years since 2013/2014, after discovering the spa through a friend in undergrad. As someone who has also gone to luxury spas with massages that don’t compare, I always visit Renewing for the real deal. In the past I’ve treated myself for my birthday, or now, I aim to go monthly as part of my self-care routine. If you’re looking for an excellent massage at an extremely affordable price, Renewing Spa is the place for you.

I go to Renewing Spa every week, and it has helped me so much. Each visit is consistently relaxing and restorative, and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. They are always on time, which I really appreciate—there’s never any waiting, and every session starts right as scheduled. The service is excellent every single time. The staff is professional, kind, and attentive, and the therapists truly know what they’re doing. The environment is calming, and the quality of care is outstanding. Plus, it’s an incredible deal for the level of service you receive. Finding a place that’s this reliable, affordable, and genuinely beneficial is rare. I highly recommend Renewing Spa—going weekly has made a huge difference for me!

I’ve been coming here for at least 10 years and it’s always a consistent high quality massage! The outside isn’t fancy so it’s easy to miss but the door is locked and you get buzzed in by staff which helps me feel safe. Oftentimes, you can get a last minute appointment if you’re not a planner. Prices are great. Would highly recommend!

This is my weekly massage spot. The head reception is incredibly accommodating on booking time slots. The massage team knows how to truly give the care and attention to your body. Best value as well. Truly can’t beat the 75 minute deal. Thank you team 👍🏾

I’ve been here a few times and I absolutely love it! The staff is so amazing and friendly. They really take their time to ensure all massages are excellent. I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. And the prices are really affordable.

Massage was good but what left a bad taste was the required 25% minimum tip, which was not displayed anywhere or stated at anytime before or during the service. I did communicate with them in Chinese. When I went to go pay after the service, I gave a 20% tip. But then the lady at the front desk said "You need to give more. All the masseuses expect at least 25% for their hard work." (In Chinese) I was so shocked since this was my first experience with someone saying that so blatantly. I ended up giving a few more dollars. The business should either pay their masseuses more or raise their prices instead of literally commanding their customers to tip more. The way this situation was handled left such a bad taste in my mouth that it ruined the whole experience. I’ve never had a bad experience at other spas in Chinatown and Flushing.
