Just Relax Spa

My daughter gifted me a full 50-minute massage session for Mother's Day. I was very leery, because I have injuries to my back, neck, and shoulders from an accident. There was a language barrier with the masseuse but I was able to communicate with her to be gentle. Although this was only a therapeutic massage, the masseuse apparently did a wonderful job of breaking up fibrous tissue (per my doctor) in my back! Yes, I suggest that you have your physician sign off on it if you're having any issues! My mobility has improved and I went back a second time with the intent of having yet a third session. The place is quiet, inviting, clean, and very conducive to relaxation. It's well worth the hour drive it takes for me.

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever received in 40 years of life and I get them weekly. The amount of work and pressure they provide made me feel incredible afterwards. Very nice staff and clean environment. The prices are incredibly fair. I give them the highest possible recommendation! Literally waiting for the next time I can come back.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this was the most rushed emmassage experience I’ve ever had… when we got in, they rushed us to the back and we changed and got in the beds… not to mention there was knocking as we were changing… then we had ordered a 60min massage but got about 50min… on top of that, the "massage" was literal torture… I endured a lot of it and took it as a "deep tissue massage"… nothing was massaged… I left and felt a bit of soreness which I assumed was normal… but now I’m a week out and I AM IN PAIN! My partner luckily had the gull enough to tell her masseuse that her massage wasn’t going as planned and that helped a bit… but… she is also STILL IN PAIN… I get that this world makes caring about certain things a bit more difficult but… I would never let that drip into punishing others or spreading pain.. but these masseuses didn’t seem to care! Ego the point that my partner yelled that she was in pain and was having a bad time just for her masseuse to acknowledge her and then… continue the same painful routine. DO NOT COME HERE! My neck literally feels like it is detached from my spine. I’m so sorry for this lengthy bad review but this pain is literally preventing me from sleeping and I’m over a week out… it’s NOT okay.

my partner and i came to just relax spa for our anniversary to get their couples massage. it was both of our first professional massage experiences- we were so happy with our visit and will definitely be back. the space was very clean and so relaxing. we both left feeling amazing, the massage was great from start to finish. we especially loved the hot stones. very reasonable pricing and the staff was extremely sweet! definitely recommend!!

We had amazing 30 minute foot massages after walking miles around the city. It was definitely worth it. Seeing the other comments, I think people really need to understand that this isn’t your Massage Envy, there are cultural differences. Other comments about tips… I didn’t think twice about tipping because I paid for a service, and tipping is appropriate. If you don’t like the pressure of your massage, say something. Don’t then punish someone after they spent a hour of their time because you refused to open your mouth.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary trip to Philly for a couples massage. I typically prefer "Swedish" massage and she likes a bit more deep tissue. I had to say three times to the masseuse that it was too much pressure, and my wife, who rarely complains of "too much" pressure, practically said "mercy", which in fifteen years of doing this together I have never heard her say. I found this place through groupon and bought two massages for me and my best friend. They got us in on a day that worked well for us and offered us the choice of separate rooms or the same. They texted us the day before to confirm and then again the morning of to give more detailed directions on parking and location which ended up being very helpful. The staff greeted us professionally and happily upon arrival and were so helpful.
