The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Portland

Our experience at the Ritz Carlton Spa in Portland was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. From the moment my wife and I arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism that immediately set the tone for a perfect day of relaxation. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating, creating an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and deeply personal. The spa itself is stunning, beautifully designed, tranquil, and impeccably maintained, offering the ideal setting to unwind and recharge. The massage we received was nothing short of spectacular. Our therapists were skilled, intuitive, and attentive to every detail, tailoring the experience to exactly what each of us needed. It was the perfect combination of therapeutic and restorative, leaving us completely relaxed and refreshed. The entire experience, from the soothing ambiance to the thoughtful touches throughout, exceeded every expectation we had. We left feeling renewed, pampered, and already planning our next visit. The Ritz Carlton Spa in Portland is a true gem, and the staff there represent the very best in service and care. It was easily one of the finest spa experiences we have ever had.

Wow! As a spa connoisseur I have to say this is an absolute gem. The spa was immaculately clean. I enjoyed the steam room and the sauna. Beautifully appointed robes and all the essentials - no need to bring anything it’s all there for you. Hairbrush , hair products, lotion, razors , etc. The views in the relaxation area were stunning - could see all of Portland - the hills ,the mountains ,the rivers, the bridges. Enjoyed the yummy healthy snacks and delicious tea. My services were a pedicure and manicure. My tech Jill, was delightful and treated me like a queen. If you enjoy sound baths , check out the zero gravity chair with headphones playing a relaxing soundtrack. Emily, the spa manager, covered me with a weighted blanket and heated neck and eye pillow and I was off to another dimension - at least for 25 minutes. Every staff member was delightful, courteous and at the ready to make sure my experience was perfect. It was a luxurious experience and I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I went to the spa on a Sunday afternoon. The services were excellent, but there are two places where this Spa does not meet the Ritz standard. 1) they didn’t have a locker for my wife. Where is she supposed to put her stuff? It is a 12 treatment room spa, how are there no lockers? 2). They did not have a robe that would fit me. I will admit I am a larger person. But this is 2025. The fat shaming needs to stop. We accept people however they appear nowadays. I was very disappointed in the Ritz, especially in a liberal town like Portland. It is easily conceivable that in a Ritz Carlton a person visiting the spa will need a 3XL robe. The staff apologized for the two items above, but come on Ritz Carlton, you need to do better.

Second best spa experience in the world to date. (No. 1 remains Mandarin Oriental, London.) ESPA products, highly skilled technicians, lovely staff, and gorgeous & CLEAN facilities. Worth every penny. 💙

I’ve had a great many massages in my life and I’d say most of them I didn’t care for. Not this place. Exceptional massage experience and the facility is impeccable. 11/10.

We had a problem with a gift card which was dealt with by Will and his Staff promptly and satisfactorily. Lovely customer Service. Good job well domestically
