I completed a float today at True Rest Float Spa and absolutely loved it! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. My float consultant, Amber Wood, was especially wonderful and made sure I had everything I needed throughout the experience. The entire spa was spotless, welcoming, and beautifully decorated with artwork and Himalayan salt lamps, creating such a calming atmosphere. The float pod and the private room were pristine and thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed. Once I settled in, I felt completely relaxed — almost in a hypnotic, dreamlike state. Afterwards, I appreciated the post-float area, which had all the essentials to freshen up — lotions, deodorant, a hair dryer, and more. There’s also a cozy sitting area with an oxygen bar, where you can enjoy flavored oxygen without any time limit. They even offer freshly brewed tea and encourage you to linger and unwind. I drove an hour and a half to experience this, and it was absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back. This was such a wonderful self-care experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone — especially those who struggle with anxiety like I do. If you’re looking for a place to truly disconnect, recharge, and take care of yourself, this is it!
Kate was awesome! Thank you so much for ensuring my husband and I had the perfect float. I love your energy! Visit the Float Spa people! You won’t regret it!😃
I have floated in the past, but this is my first time in a "tank" feel, and I enjoyed it just as much. If I lived here, I would have a membership for sure. Consider opening a location in Asheville, NC. please. You won't go wrong booking an appointment but keep in mind you might need up to three times to get to the ultimate relaxation. You have to trust in yourself to release and let go. Thank you for a great experience.
First time floating and I have decided it won't be my last. I came in aching and left feeling immediately better. A membership is in my future. Shout out to Marilyn for all of her help and expertise for this first timer!
The location is great, the suite is very quaint and nice. I think the entire process is great as well. However, my biggest complaint is the actual pod. Part of relaxation, at least for me is to ensure all my senses are being catered to. In this case, my sense of smell was on high alert because inside the pod has a smell. It’s almost like nothing, but the slight odor of a previous persons sweat, and maybe plastic? It would’ve been nice to have aromatherapy of your choice to envelop the pod, like eucalyptus, lavender etc. eventually the smell made me nauseous which made me exit sooner than my 60 minutes. I couldn’t relax. Also the salt is a nightmare to get off your skin and out of your hair. But that’s to be expected, so I don’t count that. Once you get used to the temperature, you actually get cold because your body is not fully submersed in the water. That also leads to discomfort as well, at least to me. I may need to try again for more perspective. But the smell in the pod is a big issue for me.
The customer service is excellent. I enjoyed going to the grand opening celebration too. I fell asleep both times. I felt so rejuvenated and slept well that night. Stress and Anxiety relief. Also, the oxygen bar is an added treat. My favorites are eucalyptus and peppermint. Highly recommend trying it. Looking forward to my monthly floats.
I had my first float ever at this spa. Even before going in the staff was extremely friendly and helpful answering my questions when I called in. From the moment I walked i felt welcomed. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The facility is clean and inviting. I am especially grateful for the receptionist Corrine and all of her assistance with me. 😉
