River of Life Massage Spa

My partner and I received a Groupon for a couple massage as a gift. (Try not to buy these as the price is generally the same and they throw in a bunch of freebies if you pay them personally! Groupon takes almost the entire amount) I personally had Jade and my partner had Nancy, we both rated our massages a 10/10. I've have several massages before but this was my favorite, they even massaged my head! They were receptive to my request for a lighter touch instantly and were extremely accommodating. The pressure they used was fantastic and they were both so kind. Very clean inside and a quiet calm atmosphere that really added to the relaxing experience. 10/10 would recommend, I mean come on where else can you find a couples massage for $140?

First time at the River of Life massage, and I feel so much relief. No weak massage here. I got Sunny, and the pressure was just right. The hot stone really helps the muscles relax deeply. First time trying the free cupping upgrade, and I now see what the hype is about. It's an interesting method and still gentle enough to tolerate. I was so relaxed that I even forgot they were still on. Definitely recommending, and I will be going back.

I have been a customer for years. I will not be returning. Reba never puts effort into my massages. There has been a few instances where she has made rude comments to me when I am leaving the store. I wasn't going to say anything but I ended up getting a massage the very next day somewhere else, and I realized I have wasted too much money at this place for the quality of service. I'm rating 3 stars because I have received good massages from other employees. I'm not sure if Reba does not like me, but it can show in her work. It is awkward and tense.

This was my first massage at River of Life and Sunny made me feel comfortable right off the bat! He checked in with me throughout the massage to make sure the pressure was what I wanted, we focused on the areas I preferred, etc. The space was calm and welcoming as well! I would totally recommend River of Life and Sunny to anyone looking for a proper massage!

I always like reading descriptions in reviews so I give them: The website is a little buggy, especially when booking for a couples massage, so calling for an appointment may be easiest. Everyone is friendly and sweet, so social anxiety won’t be too triggered. Parking is on the street, but we went at 1pm on a Friday and found a spot right in front. We didn’t have to pay anything.The parking space is shaded by trees, which is the most important thing for my car.
