This is definitely more a fusion of Western and Korean because of the emphasis on spa service. Unlike LA Korean spa, SF Korea spas limit your time (2 hours). I would say it's not a very traditional Korean spa based on the limited room options and time limit but the cleanliness and quality of toiletries is what I appreciate. The owner shared with my mom they clean heavily. There is throughfulness of providing free snacks, a tea and latte machine, and your lwn robe. They also gift you with a facial mask.

This is the best spa I have ever tried. The spa area is amazing — they have a jacuzzi, a cold plunge, a dry sauna, and a steam sauna. There is also a clay room and a salt room, which makes the experience feel very special and unique. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They guide you everywhere and explain everything. They even have Dyson hair dryers and a wide selection of hair and skincare products — including different curling irons for styling. Everything is designed for women and their comfort. There is also delicious herbal tea, and I love that the shampoos and shower gels smell herbal and look natural. I want to give special thanks for the service. I booked a 90-minute massage with a body scrub, and it was beyond my expectations. They carefully washed me, used hot towels during the massage, and placed pillows under my legs and head for extra comfort. You can really feel that this spa was created by someone who truly cares about people and their comfort. They also included a facial massage and face masks. I even received a body wrap treatment. This is the best spa experience I have ever had. I always dreamed of a service like this — where you receive a full body massage, are gently washed, and get a facial massage and masks all in one place, all in one treatment. 10 out of 10. This is what a real spa should be like. 💆‍♀️✨

Where have you been all my life? Been wanting to try a Korean spa treatment since forever and finally got to visit this spa recently. Loved this place so much that I want to visit at least once a quarter. The spa provides you with a robe and slippers and plenty of towels around. In addition to the hot tub, cold plunge, dry sauna, and steam room, they also have a clay and Himalayan salt rooms. My friend and I did the 60-minute Silver Bell Scrub + Massage treatment (body scrub, silver oil body massage, hair wash), enjoyed all of it even the "aggressive scrub". They also provide post-treatment toiletries, including hair dryer and hair products. All the staff are also very friendly and welcoming. I look forward to my next visit to Pearl Spa & Sauna!

Had the most relaxing 3 hours here! My boyfriend gifted me a scrub+massage here and everything was amazing! The ambiance is beautiful, their services were great. They have a hot-tub and multiple saunas where you can relax before and after your session. The scrub and massage were amazing!! Highly recommend this place. They had really good Aveda hair, face and body products to use and get ready at the end. I will be back!

Fantastic place. Spacious, with every sauna you might need, with every detail taken care of (you should see their assortment for skin care and hair care after massages!). Scrub was great, massage was right on point. And - and - if you don’t see availability on their website, call! They were able to accommodate me which I’m grateful for. They also gave me a little gift when I was leaving. That’s so nice of them. Update: Came here the second time: this place is the best!

I visited Pearl to treat myself for my birthday and booked the 24 Karat Special. The space was relaxing, clean, and most of the treatment felt lovely. Overall, it should have been a really celebratory experience. Unfortunately, the body scrub was far too aggressive. I felt significant stinging during the service, and a few days later I developed dozens of scabs across my back where the skin had been scrubbed raw on my back, including over my moles and freckles. I’ve had many body scrubs before and have never experienced broken skin or wounds like this. Exfoliation shouldn’t cause bleeding. I reached out to management directly to share my concerns and ask about a resolution, but I never received a response, which was disappointing. A little follow-up or care would have gone a long way. The spa has a nice atmosphere, but between the injury and lack of communication, I’m hesitant to return.

It’s an okay spa with good service, but it doesn’t feel like an authentic Korean spa. It seems more tailored for American customers. Overall it’s nice, but I personally prefer a more traditional Korean spa experience.
