Accessibility is a gay-friendly spa in the U.S. that blends cutting-edge wellness with soothing relaxation, offering whole-body cryotherapy and salt float therapy to ease tension and inflammation. The cryotherapy sessions are designed to be quick yet effective, with adjustable settings to enhance comfort, while the float pods provide a serene, sensory-deprivation experience. Attention to detail—like aromatherapy and thoughtful amenities—elevates the visit, though minor adjustments, such as sound management post-session, could further refine the experience.

The spa’s welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff create an inclusive environment where guests can focus on recovery and rejuvenation. Whether seeking relief from physical discomfort or simply unwinding, the treatments deliver tangible benefits. While some operational nuances, like post-float noise, may detract slightly, the overall approach to holistic wellness makes it a standout choice for those prioritizing both body and mind.

I use the whole body cryotherapy to get rid of inflammation in my knees. I sing to the music I choose, to get my mind off the cold. The 3 minutes of cold went so fast! I was surprised at the end, when it was over. Is so easy to do and the amount of inflammation you can get rid of is wonderful. I pulled the thermal socks well down below my knees, so that I would get the full benefit. I also used the coldest setting. Try it!

I did a salt float after a long day of traveling. The atmosphere is great, the place was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The reason I give this three stars is because 60 seconds after your time is up, the pod filter comes on and it’s SUPER loud and jarring. After being in silent serenity for an hour, now you’re left to shower and dress with this noise. I got out of there as quickly as I could because it was so unpleasant. For the money it costs to do the float, it’s not worth it if that’s how it’s going to end.

Treated myself to float therapy for the first time to relieve body tension and left with a deep sense of relaxation for the rest of the day! The staff was kind and I appreciated the lemon water and subtle lemongrass aromatherapy. The only thing is that the neck support pillow in the float pod had rips from overuse and I wish I could get the light to stay the same color. I'd love to come back to try the infrared sauna with the float!

Reboot Float and Cryo Spa is absolutely amazing! These pictures do not do the experience justice, but, I hope it will help. Reboot is a sanctuary for self-care that will bring you closer to optimal health. Let go of stress and leave recharged, refreshed and reborn. Reboot is a family-owned wellness spa serving the Bay Area since April 2015. We opened our first location at 1912 Lombard in the Marina with 4 float tanks. In January 2017, we opened our second location in the Rockridge district of Oakland and added cryotherapy and infrared sauna. In 2018, we opened our third location on Valencia Street in the Mission and added T-Shock and compression therapy. This is a MUST TRY experience!

Hi, been too what I would call "normal sauna" -they call it fire and ice, cute. which was great. hygienic wood smelling sauna at reasonably high temperatures and a cold plunge with jets. if they are working. Apparently, this is a very novel idea/sauna (Finnlands first recorded sauna was 7000 BC and nobody knows how far back first nations rituals along those lines go). however, it would love it be more often in working condition to take advantage. but when it works, it is great.

This was my first time at this location. I went to the Marina location several years ago and really enjoyed it. This spa was also lovely, very clean and zen with everything you need for the float and after, and the staff were friendly and provided good tips. I enjoy the solitude and I love effortlessly floating. However, my room lights never turned off all the way – they’re supposed to be motion sensitive, but stayed lit the entire time. I would’ve mentioned it on my way out but didn’t want to be late for my next appointment.* One tip for anyone with tinnitus like me: as you probably know, earplugs and absolute silence (both of which are necessary for this experience) will make the ringing deafening. Before getting in the pod, put your phone in airplane mode, place it on a stool near the pod, and turn on some pink noise. *Update 10 days later: One more star for responsiveness and an excellent float experience. Management realized a contractor had disabled the sensor in my float room and credited me for the float. Today everything went perfectly.

This was our first time at Reboot Float Spa, and we had been looking forward to this experience for a while. We were genuinely excited to try something new and relax together--but the experience was completely ruined by how we were treated afterward. After our session, my boyfriend and I were approached by the two women at the front desk who accused us of going back and forth between each other's rooms and leaving a shower door open--none of which happened. We were quiet, respectful, and followed every rule. Instead of asking us privately or even giving us the benefit of the doubt, they spoke to us in a rude, condescending tone in front of other guests in the lobby. It wasn't discreet or professional--it was embarrassing and felt completely unnecessary. The whole interaction felt judgmental and targeted. As a couple, it was hard not to feel like there was an underlying tone of homophobia in the way we were spoken to. Nobody deserves to be treated like that--especially not paying customers just trying to enjoy a peaceful experience. We left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. First impressions matter, and this one made it very clear that this isn't a space we'd feel comfortable returning to.
