Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort & Spa

My son and daughter-in-law bought us a hot tub experience for Christmas. We didn't stay at the hotel this time but we've enjoyed it in the past. The woman at the desk was friendly and accommodating. We were given a box of chocolate truffles and sparking wine. We spent about an hour just relaxing in the Rendezvous tub. It was quite a climb up the stairs but was with the effort. The grounds are clean and beautiful. We've driven by there a "million" times and are happy we finally went.

Went there to use the couples hot tubs. We didn't have a reservation so there was a bit of a wait. We decided to stick around just in case and actually were able to get in early! Staffwas so friendly. While we were waiting, we took time to look around the shop. It is full of very unique items. There are some one of a kind things there. Hot tubs were clean. Overall wonderful experience! Left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

I have visited this resort as an overnight guest and I have also stopped by a few times just to use the mineral spring hot tubs for an hour. They're rented at reasonable rates, have lovely views of the oaks and the hillside and are very private. Different size tubs are available for different size groups. It has become an essential stop every time we drive north. The hotel rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. We felt the pricing was fair for all that was offered. Having a private hot tub on the porch was amazing. The hotel maintains quiet hours, but after that point overnight guests can freely use the hot tubs that are available to rent on the hillside. There are nice trails to walk, a gift shop with great local items, spa services and lots of other amenities. Parking is easy. Getting there is easy. The proximity to SLO, Morro Bay, etc. makes it a nice home base for visiting the central coast. We really enjoyed nearby Avila Beach. It's really nice to spend a day exploring and come home a wonderful, hot mineral soak.

What a relaxing experience! The hotel staff was so accommodating. Our room was so private and quiet. The day spa was wonderful. I had the best massage with Tyler. I can't recommend him enough if you like firm massages!

Came here just for the hot tub and really enjoyed it. The front desk staff asked if we wanted a tub on the lower or higher levels, and we picked higher. Be ready for some stairs, it’s about 7 floors up. The tub felt very private and peaceful, surrounded by trees, you can’t see any other tubs from yours, and everything is spaced out nicely. It was such a relaxing soak on a cool October night! Plenty of parking and not crowded at all on a Sunday evening. Perfect quiet spot to unwind. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing stay. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are spacious and so clean. The hot tub in the room was so relaxing! We enjoyed a tasty pizza in the secret garden and listened to an awesome band. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was delicious...the biscuits and gravy was one of the best ever! We enjoyed looking a the wonderful arrangement of gifts in the gift shop. Just beautiful!

Awesome experience! Staff is super helpful, and the property is extremely pet friendly. Great dog park, lots of outdoor areas to explore. I stayed in a Meadows Suite and it was absolutely worth it. Romm was amazing and the outdoor deck and hot tub had a great view and was very comfortable. Great first impression and I will for sure go back!
