Equilibrium Float Spa is a must go! everything about my experience there from booking to the time that I left my appointment was seamless. I was able to book an appointment online for a couples float the night before with no issues. When my partner and I got to our appointment it was a very fast check in and we were shown to our float room. The float room itself was a bit small for two people but more than enough space for one person. But what was really amazing was the actual float tank itself. It was huge! it was by far the most relaxing float experience I’ve had. It was completely sanitary, the water was at the perfect temperature, the lighting and music were customizable to your liking, and they included floating head rests inside the tank which was an added bonus to help relax even more. While they do have a little shower area with soap and shampoo for you to use, I would suggest bringing a personal towel and some lotion if you plan to do anything else after, as the float tank can leave your skin a little dry.
Come and get your float on! And get a B12 shot while you're at it. This place rocks my world- floatation tanks, cryotherapy chamber, and massage too! Brenda gives the best facials on earth so check her out too!
The float experience was nice, however the woman working was incredibly unprofessional. When you book with Equilibrium, they send you an email asking you to arrive 10-15 minutes early, so that is exactly what me and my boyfriend did. Our appointment was at 5:30, and we showed up at 5:15 on the dot, nobody was in the building. We then called and a woman answered, seemingly in a car, saying she was on her way and "usually people show up late," as if insinuating us following the arrival time on the email was an inconvenience to her. The woman finally appears at 5:32, two minutes after our float was scheduled to start and 17 minutes after they told us to arrive with her young child in tow. The woman then had us sign the waivers and lead us into the float room, asking if either of us had floated before. I answered affirmatively but at a different spa and my partner answered negatively, she then told him I could "give you the down low" about rinsing off and stuff, there was no actual information given to us. We had a good float but I’m skeptical to try them again because of the obvious lack of regard for customers.
So relaxing! The "tank" is so large that you can really stretch out without touching the sides. It was tranquil, but also fun to find different ways in which you can float. Loved the experience and will go again. Very clean, nice people, an overall pleasant experience. Next time I’d like to try their other services and do a longer float. @equilibriumfloat
The float was nice when I went here with my girlfriend. The place itself was fairly nice, but the staff was not. We were told to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before our start time, we arrived 15 minutes early on the dot. There was no one working when we arrived and when we called the business a woman answered and said that she was "on [her] way over". Our float was supposed to start at 5:00 PM. She did not arrive until 5:03 PM. This is eighteen minutes after they told us to arrive. Her justification for being late was that "most people show up late". I had never been to a float spa before but my girlfriend had. The woman asked if either of us had done one before, my girlfriend said that she had, and was told by the woman to "just show [me] the low-downs" and then left without another word. I absolutely recommend going to a float spa at some time in your life, however not here if you have other options.
I can’t recommend Equilibrium Float Spa highly enough—during the third trimester of my pregnancy I was experiencing a high volume of stress and prenatal depression. A close friend recommended I try sensory deprivation floating, which was something I had never tried (or even heard of!) before. After speaking with my OBGYN (who said it would be a wonderful thing to try) I signed up for three sessions and went in with an open (and hopeful!) mind. At my first appointment I was welcomed into a wonderfully calm space—the float room was warm, relaxing, and set with everything I would need. I was also walked through what to expect and made sure I was completely comfortable. Experiencing total weightlessness in a dark relaxing space while 8 months pregnant was incredible. I was able to fully relax and even drifted off to sleep, only to wake up gently to the sound of relaxing music with my pregnancy body aches quieted and deep sense of overall well-being and mental calm. This feeling increased after each session and there is no doubt that these sessions were critical in supporting my overall mental and physical well-being during my last trimester. I now recommend Equilibrium Float Spa to almost everyone I know, especially my pregnant friends! The relaxing and healing float experience is truly transformative.
I love, love, love floating at Equilibrium. I have lived my whole life with chronic joint pain - especially neck pain - and only recently learned that all my body needed was a little less gravity! The hour in the float tank is the most comfortable I have ever been able to be! It's relaxing and restorative, and I sleep extra deeply for at least a week after every session. Highly recommend!
