Attended a wedding here. The venue is beautiful, lush and gorgeous with lots of fountains. The steak was the best I've ever had! The cheese table was incredible, the bartender was great as were the front desk gals. Even with guests in the pool, it still felt private and very serene. No detail was overlooked, truly gorgeous! My only critique was one of the servers, he was passing out hors d'oeuvres and the champagne, he really seemed like he did not like his job and was rude and condescending. Middle aged guy, dark hair, possiblly Hispanic but didn't catch his name. Other than that, this place was absolutely amazing!!
There were some really good parts but mostly it wasn’t worth the price.||Location is good—walkable to lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. Ubers and Waymo readily available. But the hotel has a shuttle that will drive you anywhere in a 3 mile radius. We found this out on last day.||When we checked in we were not made aware of shuttle or any other amenities. We found gym on our own and it was nice. Food at restaurants was good. ||Do not under any circumstances accept an even numbered room in the Agua Dulce building if you’d like to sleep past 5:30am. The staff are dragging carts in front of that building constantly from 5:30-7:30am. We stayed 3 nights, and were consistently woken up by this. ||The door men were really nice as was the pool bartender. Pools are allegedly heated but the water was freezing.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Feels very zen and perfect for a true getaway. Loved the pool, the rooms, the spa, the lobby, etc. I will agree with others comments that one of the pools did end up being closed for a whole afternoon during our stay. Luckily we were able to get seats at the other pool but this was a little disappointing as it was the bar pool that was closed. But we truly loved our experience here! You can also walk easily to old town within 15 minutes and you can also hop on the Arizona canal trail for walking/running
I didn't stay here, but attended a conference and absolutely loved the space!! The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, every room is so thoughtfully designed and flows into the next. The plants all look so healthy and happy which makes such a difference! There are TONS of spaces for you to sit, relax, or enjoy a drink. The drinks and food are pricey but delicious and good portions. The staff is probably the best part of the hotel...even though I wasn't staying there, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcomed! Everyone was so nice and friendly, I will absolutely stay here next time I'm in Scottsdale!
Positive: Honestly, I didn't like anything about the hotel. The front of the house staff were disorganized, the resort fee for a 12-hour stay was exorbitant, and there were no food options other than overpriced burgers and no elevator. Negative: All of it- the staff, tiny bathroom, the ridiculous resort fee, and the lack of food options. I have never reviewed a hotel, but I felt compelled to do so. They describe it as walking distance from downtown - nothing could be further from the truth.
I had an amazing stay at the Scott this past weekend. I had the good fortune for my conference. The hotel was beautiful and well appointed. It was unfortunately too cold to enjoy the pool or hot tub area but those areas were lovely and well maintained. The staff is terrific. Every single employee was helpful and friendly. The water pressure in the bathroom was AMAZING, best shower I've had in a long time! The ONLY thing that I didn't love was that the bed and pillows were too soft for me. I slept well but had some difficulty falling asleep at night. Other than that, the rooms were well appointed and nicely decorated.
Well maintained vintage hotel with rooms that are large, updated and well appointed. The bed and linens were luxurious and super comfortable. They had plenty of staff that were always courteous and helpful. The property is very large and spread out but grounds were immaculate and well maintained. The pool was very clean. The meeting rooms were conducive for business and the staff unobtrusive...they were readily present but you really didn't know they were there. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy everything they had to offer.
