Spa Evangeline

I had a wonderful prenatal massage at Spa Evangeline while staying at the Epicurean Hotel. The therapist was very attentive and focused on my neck, shoulders, and lower back, which was exactly what I needed. The hand and foot exfoliation add-on was a great touch. The spa is beautiful, relaxing, and very professional — highly recommend!

The services (massage, facial, body scrub) were exceptional. Warn and friendly providers that quietly provided wonderful treatments. The scheduler, and the checkout process was lacking. I had to find the times on the schedule to have all the services I wanted ( she said they weren’t available), then at checkout they had changed the gratuity to 32% and 26% from the advertised 18% and charge me additional for the services. I had to go online to their website to show them the price of the package. Get past the desk (although the lady checking me out was friendly) and you won’t be disappointed with the services.

I went here for a couples spa day and my boyfriend and I loved every minute of it. The side by side massages were amazing. Ari and Donna were absolutely fabulous. I specifically wanted a couples massage and they had a beautiful room dedicated just for that. Prices were fair for the neighborhood and the spa was easy to access. The only thing I wish is that when I booked the appointment the staff had mentioned that add ons were available. I only noticed the menu on the counter afterward and would have loved to add the eye mask and hot rocks. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Friday’s spa visit for a birthday celebration was a major disappointment. Our appointments were delayed, cutting the celebration short. The spa feels dated, and the women’s changing room had a strong sewer odor—unacceptable for a luxury property. Even with a 20% discount, the experience was not worth the cost once fees and gratuity were added. I left a message for management and received no response. I love the hotel, but I cannot recommend the spa in its current state.

We came for a couples massage experience and from start to finish it was such high quality and amazing customer service. We were relaxed from the moment we swept in. Everything was explained clearly and they took our individual preferences into account. Arie and Ambera were amazing and so fun to be paired with. We plan on making this an annual tradition for our anniversary

Donna was exceptional for a deep tissue massage. I highly recommend. I have traveled twice now to this area and was able to fit in a massage. The spa is fine, their massage staff is top notch.

Today I had an 80 minute massage from Vinny. It felt incredible. His technique was excellent and I feel totally refreshed. This was so therapeutic. A great overall experience from the moment my husband and I arrived. My husband had a 50 minute massage and was most impressed. The staff were so polite and welcoming. The relaxation room was outstanding with choices of beverages and light snacks of fruit or nibbles, calming music and aromatherapy. the staff were so attentive bringing us warm neck wraps.
