Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I'm grateful that the staff here are open and happy to work with transgender clients. It is difficult to feel welcome in so many places, particularly now, but Alternative Health Associates are so affirming. I recommend them to everyone. The women here are amazing--Vanessa, Kristi, and Edom are wonderful human beings! I've gotten facial laser hair removal and electrolysis, but fully trust them with care later down the road. I'll definitely continue to be a regular for whatever else I need. Can't recommend this place enough.

This place is such a gem! I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years for laser hair removal services. Vanessa has done such a wonderful job, that I now only need to come in for maintenance. When I first started working with Vanessa, I expressed concerns that I had with getting laser removal as I have darker skin and was unsure how the machine would react to it. She was so kind, patient and thorough in our initial consultation that I went ahead with the services. I’m glad I did as the services and experience are so worth it! I’ve gotten laser elsewhere and can say that this place is truly top notch. I have never been pressured into getting unnecessary products or services. Plus booking and rescheduling is always such a breeze as well. Since trying laser here, I’ve even had a great experience with getting a facial and mircrodermabrasion. I always leave here feeling rejuvenated and highly recommend it as a one-stop shop for looking and feeling better!
