I recently saw Luis for a Brazilian (Manzilion? Nah, Brazilian is gender inclusive enough I think). I generally think of a Brazilian as removing all the hair in the area, but in this case I wanted to keep some hair above for a somewhat more natural, masculine look. In any case, this is the only the second time I’ve had waxing done and I absolutely wanted Luis to do the work, and I’ll explain why: First of all Luis was thorough and professional in explaining the options and procedure in advance, and made sure I was completely informed and comfortable with the process. Second, the environment he works in is great. High ceilings, lots of natural light, homey and comfortable. Also I like that he is a sole practitioner so it’s completely private. This was especially important to me the first time I went to him since it’s such an intimate procedure. He immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Third, he did a great job! Thorough and artful. Exactly what I was hoping for. If this is your first time getting waxed you should know, yes, it looks great, but even better is the results feel amazing - so superior to shaving. Super smooth and more sensitive. Even when the hair grows back no stubble, which I find very uncomfortable. Anyway, if you’re thinking about it do it, and have Luis do the job. The experience and results are amazing. I came down from VT and made a day of it.
