I'm giving this place 1 star solely for the massage itself. I'm deducting the other 4 stars because, like many others have mentioned, the staff aggressively pressure customers into tipping far more than is reasonable—then hide behind the language barrier when questioned. They pushed for a 30% tip on top of already inflated prices ($50 for a 45-minute massage, followed by a demand for a $15 tip, which was later reduced to $12). I placed an additional $5 down on top of my tip of $10 and asked for change, but of course, she kept the $3 without asking. If you are a customer who still wants to come here, make sure that you're ok with them bullying you for more tips. Owner, if you're reading this, your staff need proper training. If you want repeat business and positive reviews, this kind of manipulation has to stop. Don’t let practices like this fuel damaging racial stereotypes. It’s bad for your business and worse for your community.

Linda is amazing, I was there yesterday after doing a quick google search looking for a massage in the location I was in. How lucky was I to get this phenomenal massage by Linda. The pressure is very intense but she will adjust as you need. I suffer from severe chronic back pain and also have issues with my neck, shoulder, hips and knee. Linda just knew what areas to focus on and I have been getting massages for over 20 years in nyc. I was so pleased to experience new techniques on my face, hands, feet, hips and the rest of my body. They use hot stones which feels so fantastic. Linda changed my whole weekend and I will be back as soon as possible. They prefer cash and please tip as they provide so much with this service. I got an hour massage and I wish I had another 30 minutes as I needed more. As I said I will be back as soon as I am able. If you are suffering with pain like I was, please come to Sun Shine Hot Stone Bodywork. Their prices are beyond reasonable please support this amazing business.

I tend to get massages often for leg pain so I've been trying out places. I've been here twice and will come back. This is a tiny place attended by whom I think are the two owners. I like how it's not a place with random changing staff. I was attended by the man and it was obvious he was very knowledgeable. He really knew where and how to work to get some pretty permanent knots out. Definitely someone who studied a lot. If you are looking for a pretty place to sit around in a robe and sip tea with light touch, this is not the place! But if you want a serious massage, especially for particular pains or problems, this place is great.

Got a full body massage from this place and when I tell you they worked all the kinks and knots out of every inch of my body, I mean I may not go back to another massage place. HONESTLY ( it was that good!) The masseuse’s are extremely professional and do their job to the liking of your strength. It was honestly one of the more pleasant and CLEAN places and Super friendly! Again amazing massage and I’ll be back again for sure.

Massage in the beginning hurt a lot, she was pressing on my bones. After, she started massaging my actual muscles and that felt better. She did this one move with her forearm up my back and into my neck that felt amazing. Curtain was left a bit open when I was changing so that was a bit awkward. I tipped her $12 (20%) and she laughed and said "$15!" in a joking way. I gave it to her but yeah I agree with the other reviews that it is unprofessional. Not a terrible massage but I won’t be coming back.

I'v had many massages in my life, and honest truth, this was by far the best one. There are no frills involved, but Linda is an expert! I came in with a horrible crick in my neck, and by the time I was done, I felt like a new person. She used the perfect amount of pressure, and every movement had a purpose. She used hot stones which was incredible. I'm planning on going once every other week now. Don't miss out on this hidden gem! Thank you Linda!!!
