CHI Reflexology

I've been here before but it has been a while. I'm now 38weeks pregnant and went in for a foot massage and it was amazing! Loooove their prices you literally can't beat it! The staff was very considerate and was able to adjust the chair so I wasn't laying so much on my back (cannot lay on back when pregnant). I don't know the name of my masseuse but he did a wonderful job. Love the head massage and warm pillow as well and he kept checking the pressure was good. My feet and legs feel better than they have the entire pregnancy. I might schedule another appointment next week if I can. Only thing I will say is make sure to call in to schedule an appointment, that seems to be the preferred method. And be ready for very minimal English convo as there is definitely a language barrier although it did not affect my massage at all.

There is a bit of language barrier and confusion about the online booking. I was asked if we called or texted and I said no and they didn’t seem to understand but I showed them my email confirmation and it seemed to clear everything up. I had a 40 minute foot massage. At almost 37 weeks pregnant they were very kind and gentle while also giving me a relaxing experience. I think the prices were fair for the quality of work. Would recommend!

Great place. Staff is always great. This place is a necessity when you don’t have the ability to schedule far in advance. Highly recommend.

First time experience was excellent, good pressure while also being very relaxing. Efficiently run and clean establishment. We will be coming back. Has previously been going to a similar place on the south side of Austin Bluff that had a change of ownership so happy to have found Chi

I tried this place out to get a full body massage ($49) for the first time last week. It was very painful, but I couldn't really say anything because the massage therapist didn't seem to understand English. I gave 20% tip to him anyway, then he made sure if I paid the right amount tip and I said yes. Then he giggled about the amount I gave him!! I was so shocked and today I found out he charged me $60, so I called this place to complain, but the person picked the phone up said NO ENGLISH. I am very disappointed with this place and NEVER go back!!!!!!

Always super fair with their pricing If you are looking for clothes optional massage, this is not the place for you. You are massaged with your clothes on. Wear thin layers if you want to feel it more, and if that is not enough, you can always ask for them to go tougher.

I was so excited to try this place especially with all the good reviews. I booked an appointment online and showed up for my appointed time. The man who greeted me seemed very upset and confused about my online reservation. The language barrier did make it hard to explain. But he seemed upset and rude. He asked if I called and I said no I booked online. Then he replied with, did you call yes or no in a very firm tone. I said no and he ushered me to the back with no instructions. When we got to the back all he said was "face down " and unsure of how any of the process worked I laid down for the massage. There is no conversation on what pain I had in my body what kind of pressure I wanted or anything. I decided I would trust the process because all the reviews were so good. He proceeded. I am not kidding when I say this was the most painful massage I’ve ever had in my life, the pressure was so much I am in so much pain and feel like my entire back is bruised. When we moved on to the foot massage I was so relieved to be off of that massage table. Foot massage is OK. At the end when I went to pay he said nothing to me and handed me a paper with the total on it. I paid (& still tipped) and he just walked away making me feel like I was a burden. I definitely won’t be back.
