Orchid Thai Massage

I found Orchard Thai Massage on Yelp after leaving another appointment nearby. I was already in Newport Beach by the airport and really wanted a Thai massage. There was one closer, but they were closing early, so I checked reviews and headed over here instead — and I’m so glad I did. I wish I remembered my therapist’s name. She was amazing. I usually book Thai massage specifically because I want to be stretched, but the front desk suggested their combo massage, which they said was really popular. At first, I was hesitant — I wanted stretching, but I also wanted oil because I’d been traveling and my body was sore. Honestly, I had low expectations going in. I thought I wouldn’t get enough pressure or stretching… but it was perfect. She still stretched me out, walked on my back, cracked my back, and the bed was heated (huge plus). The pressure was great, she checked in on me often, and communication was easy — her English was totally fine. The rooms were clean, everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and she even gave me a $5 coupon to come back next time. I’d 100% do this combo massage again here — and honestly, next time I’d probably book longer than 60 minutes. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Makes me want to go again right now.

It was honestly just okay. And they apparently don't actually have the chair reflexology like they say they do. They told us they could only do the other massages that were if course $15 more per person.

I’ve got couple massage today the masseuse really pro, highly recommend if you want to get the professional massage. Unique decoration and nicely receptionist. We will definitely come again.

Killer massage. Swan did an amazing job on stretching me and breaking down multiple tight and sore spots and her professionalism was exceptional.

I had the best massage here, found all my pain spots. Nice people work here

I just had an amazing massage experience. Very thorough, clean, and friendly. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Pro: strong massage. Con: poor communication. Leaving this place perplexed 🤔 Used to be my go to spot for no frills and solid service. I'd say the statement holds true for the most part but communication upon arrival was confusing. I made an appointment the day prior and they didn't have my information on their schedule so I had about a 10 minute wait after arriving early. You have to pay for the service in advance and credit cards have a small fee which would've been nice to know in advance. I was supposed to get hot stones with my service which they forgot to do and were apologetic about afterwards. They seem to mean well but may be disorganized. I'd say you may need to quadruple confirm your service and identify pain areas directly with the masseuse ahead of time.
