SWTHZ West Village

I made this reservation with reservation, celebrating a friend's birthday, however I was pleasantly surprised!! I made the reservation over the phone with Reggie and was glad to actually meet Reggie when I came in. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and helpful from start to finish. I will definitely be back here and will try the other locations as well. Thanks Reggie for a great customer service!

Janae was wonderful. Great communication very good spirited person. We loved our very first experience and we will be back indefinitely. All the workers were very nice and helpful as well. Thanks guys from Shaunda and Korian.

I’ve been going to this SweatHouz for 8 months and the experience has been great. I’ve tried several SweatHouz locations and West Village is my favorite as the staff is very friendly and attentive to whatever requests I have during my sessions. Since incorporating infrared sauna and cold‑plunge sessions into my health routine, I’ve had significant improvements in overall health and wellbeing. Because of those health benefits and the great service, I’ve recommend SweatHouz to most of my friends and family or to anyone else I think the sauna and cold plunge can benefit.

This place is the definition of horrible. They are the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. I asked for my monthly rate to be changed. I wanted a different plan. I was told every time I went to the front desk that it would be done. It was never done. Then I said OK I want to quit my membership. OK, you’ve quit. Your membership is what I was told. Then I continue to be charged. When I asked about it, they said oh didn’t you fill out the cancellation form. No one gave me a form to fill out. So I finally filled out the form. Then they proceeded to continue to charge me. I asked to speak to a manager weekly to get this sorted out. I never once heard from a manager. No one ever called me. And you can’t get a hold of anybody that is in corporate to complain. Because there is no number online. You are basically screwed as the customer. This business completely screws over their customers. Sign up at your own risk. Awful!!!!!!!

My first experience with SWTHZ West Village was impeccable. This location is ran with transparency, a high caliber of customer service, and personalized interaction. Each member was vigilant about introducing themselves, shout out to the manager, Janelle (hope I spelled that correctly!!). She made me feel seen and at home. If you have the chance to visit, and the means to secure your membership- DO IT.

I cancelled back in November. It’s not January 30th and they are still trying my card. I’ve locked it now for that same reason. But it’s crazy to me that I’m going to order a whole new card just because they can’t seem to cancel on their end. They also don’t answer the phone. And when they do they say the GM is looking into it. Truly so disappointed. And exhausted with this process. Never coming back.

Don't waste your money with this place. I was blocked from entry after my card declined as I had to cancel it for other reasons and asked to cancel the membership; yet I was charged 2 months PLUS an extra month from their ridiculous cancellation policy. Keep it mind I had no access to the studio but I was still being charged. Now I have to pay over 400$ for this joke of a business. Infrared saunas that they have there feel cheaply built and underwhelming. And don’t bother trying to get a cold plunge in as half the time, they are cleaning it as the store is open. Don’t waste your time here, there are many better places in the area. I am not the only one who was victim of this, read some of the other reviews.
