I have just had my second therapeutic massage at Compass Rose, and I feel relaxed and invigorated all at once. At the beginning of the session, Olivia discusses with you what you would prefer to be the focus of the massage (back, hips, legs, etc.). In addition, she picks up from your conversation what other areas may need attention. She checks in to make sure you are comfortable (temperature, degree of pressure, etc.) as she works. The room is peaceful, clean, and beautiful, and soft music plays. I highly recommend Olivia. No matter how you are feeling, you’ll feel better after a session with her!

My first experience with Olivia was such a positive one! She helped me relieve tension and pain in my body that I had been experiencing due to intense grief. Her attention and presence was noted throughout my 90 mins massage. I enjoyed hot towels, hot pack and aromatherapy along with her knowledgeable manual work. I would recommend her to anyone new or expert at receiving massage. Very, very good!

Olivia is a really talented massage therapist who is easy to communicate with, very professional and provides a great environment. Intake form was easy to complete and useful to provide before my appointment. Parking was a breeze and the location has a pleasant atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. I purchased the deep tissue massage and she provided great pressure throughout my massage checking in with me to make sure that it was okay. The hot towels are wonderful and she let me choose my essential oils. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend Olivia to anyone seeking a massage therapist in the Springfield / Eugene area.

Olivia is a remarkable massage therapist. (I'm a graduate of massage school and have been getting regular massage for 30+ years, so I think I can give an informed review.) Olivia "reads" the body with her hands and there's an incredible perfection to the pace of her work. Her hands gently encourage the muscles to release. They dance with perfect depth and timing such that the tissue trusts enough to "let go". Not only is her bodywork highly effective, it is thoroughly delightful. Part of the joy of receiving Olivia's work is the sense of "mastery" and flow that she brings to the treatment. The first time I went to see her I decided to sign up for a block of 5 massages. (It's a great deal-- and, I knew I'd want to see her regularly.) Give yourself the blessing of her fine work. Your body and soul will be glad you did.

Not only is the massage-space dialed in to be ultimately relaxing (steam towels included) but Olivia’s hands are magic! With a background in remedial massage, not only is she highly skilled, she seems to possess an intuition and surprised me with how she was able to do for my hurt body exactly what was needed. The perfect balance of gentle and assertive, very good at communicating and identifying your needs, and a super warm and sweet person, I would recommend Olivia to anyone.

As someone with chronic shoulder and back tension, this was by far one of the best massages I’ve ever received. Olivia went above and beyond to address the pain I was having, and focused intently on those areas. The studio was very clean, peaceful, and relaxing, and days later my body feels so much better. After experiencing the 60 minute deep tissue massage, I made sure to book another appointment before I left!
