The location is very odd, kind of weird vibes. The room was very bright with all the lights on and there was noise in the hallway which made it hard to thoroughly relax. The massage itself was OK.

Jacob was amazing! I came in with significant pain in my upper back, and throughout my neck, shoulder and arm on one side, likely due to a pinched nerve. He clearly knew how to assess the issue from an anatomical perspective, and work through some of my unique joint issues, muscle tightness and pain points to settle them down. I needed some deep tissue work which was no problem for him. He is a true professional and does incredible work. Thank you, Jacob!

As a patron of Jacob for the past four years, I have found his services invaluable in the care of my back and my overall mobility. Every time I visit him, I find such relief! I am also very picky - I only like massages without oil, and more like thai massages, where you are somewhat involved in the process, not passive. Worthy of ten stars. Let me start by saying, finding the right body work expert is like It's like finding a great car mechanic. Once found, stick with that person them so they can get to know your body's structure, it's strengths and weaknesses, so you can heal as the work evolves. He is knowledgable sure, but uses his intuition and intelligence to guide each session. He listens deeply and encourages you to work with him. His gift of touch is aided by ( in my case) some co-operative breath-work. I have an injury that may take some months to tackle, but having found the right mechanic to help me towards a full recovery is a very encouraging. Shall I go on with the list of other basics covered by Jacob? Let's proceed. He is professional, kind, polite, relaxed and fully present, full of good information he'll generously share it if he thinks it will help you. He doesn't sell you on sessions or anything else. His massage room is elegant, comfortable, and he'll play wonderfully ambient music if you like. He can adjust the heat of the massage table, which I love. The entire experience sets you up for the rest of your day and beyond. The studio is easy to find, with plenty of good parking.
