Massage Therapy Works

I have been coming to Massage Therapy works for almost 2 years now. They’re very nice, the place is calming & relaxing. One of the reasons why I keep coming is because of Ting! She is very nice, friendly & kind. She always offers their delicious Chinese herbs drinks and sweets. I also LOVE their small goodies! I hard medical massage by Lina today, she is very good, one of the most relaxing massages I ever had. I was mainly going To recover from my back surgery, but I had a very bad migraine. She was able to tell how tight my neck was and she worked on it very well and I feel much better after I left.

I found Massage Therapy Works online and it did not disappoint. The spa was clean and the staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The shop is beautiful and so calming. The Swedish massage was top tier and I highly recommend to add the Hot Stones. At the end of the massage we were given complimentary tea and able to sit before leaving! We will definitely return!!! Great customer service and experience!!

Hands down the best massage experience I’ve had in the DMV! Jason is truly gifted—he works out my knots like magic every single time. His deep tissue massages are exceptional. The space is clean, organic and zen, which immediately puts you at ease. The staff are all very personable and intuitive, making the entire experience feel customized and restorative. I always leave feeling lighter, aligned, and refreshed. I highly recommend if you’re looking for high-quality, intentional bodywork in a calm, healing environment!

An exceptional experience from start to finish! I’m not someone who easily relaxes or takes time for self care, so when my partner went out of his way to research and book this place for me, I went in with cautious optimism. I’m so glad I trusted him—and this place—because from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I experienced a complete relaxation. I came in tense and stressed and left completely at ease. I cannot say enough good things about this place - the ambiance was calming and clean and the massage was done with true care. My massage therapist Sarah really took the time to understand my specific areas of tension and I walked out feeling lighter and refreshed. It was truly therapeutic. What really set this experience apart though, was the heartfelt care of the staff. I had a touching conversation with the manager that made the experience all the more personal and memorable. And left with a little treat! If you're looking for a healing place this is it. I can’t recommend it enough!

This place is top notch. No fluff, no unnecessary added cost. It’s just pure good quality service focused on massage. They value their customers. Here my VIP holiday gift. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been coming here ~8-10 times a year for about 5 years and we have never had anything but an INCREDIBLE massage that leaves us walking out feeling rejuvenated and more limber. They customize to how you like the massage, and their add-on services are reasonably priced and always worth it. We’ve gotten full body scrubs and aromatherapy and hot stones, and always feel like they are worth the money. They’re super flexible with timing and have such a kind and knowledgeable staff. We love them!

Massage Therapy Works is the first place I've gone to based off reviews and it did not disappoint. I've been to mannnnnny Spas in the DMV and I always leave unsatisfied and unimpressed. Massage Therapy literally exceeded my expectations. Jason was highly recommended and I see why. The technique he used to roll down the thighs and calves, WHEW! My back too! It was like a machine but 100 times better. I purchased the deep tissue massage for an hour and the Chinese signature massage for an hour, with a 5 minute lower back and foot massage (I know that's alot but it was my birthday okay!😆) best birthday gift ever!! I will say that although I LOVE a STRONG/DEEP tissue massage, the Chinese Signature portion was a tad bit too deep, even for me BUT thats bc its supposed to be! I only mention it bc if you decide to get it, be ready! I may give it another try when I go back, but I will be sure to ask for it to be lighter, specifically when it gets to the Ashiatsu portion... however my back does feel amazing. I also have plantar faciitis and my feet have not felt this good in YEARS. Not sure how long it will last but it doesnt even matter, he did something! He rubbed out all my knots in my back and feet and I have horrible feet🤧 lol!! I plan to purchase a membership and attend frequently and I'm an hour away, worth the drive! Don't think, just book!!
