YUAN Massage & Spa

📍 Gay massage in Long Beach

6.8

Accessibility in the United States offers a gay massage experience that is generally well-received. The massage quality is commendable, with therapists willing to adjust pressure to your preference. However, the noise level can be disruptive, and the duration of the massage may feel shorter due to frequent interruptions for additional items like hot towels or stones.

The customer service is notable for its friendliness, and the overall experience can be quite satisfying. However, some may find the tipping expectations to be higher than standard, and the comfort of the massage beds could be improved. Despite these minor drawbacks, Accessibility remains a popular choice for those seeking a relaxing and inclusive massage experience.

Pros: Massage is good and if you ask for more pressure they will do it. Cons: I always tip 25% but it seems thats never enough. they expect more but I dont let them demand for more. Tip is optional not mandatory and 25% tip is good enough. If they expect more, they should raise the prices instead. Cons: Too noisy you cannot relax and a 1hr massage is actually 45mins because they waste so much time leaving to grab hot towels, stones, etc.

Compared to all the other massage studios I've been to in California, this one stands out as being pretty terrible. There is no separation between the front entrance and the massage rooms so every time someone walks in you hear a very loud bell and then them talking to the person at the front desk. The beds are not well padded, I had to ask for an extra pillow because the pressure on my back was pressing my throat into the table and choking me. Even with the extra pillow, it was not very comfortable and if I fully relaxed, it was still hard to breath. There was a hole in the drywall as if someone had punched or kicked it. The massage therapist I got was very rough and her finger nails were too long. My legs had friction burns for about a week after my massage here and my shoulder blades felt bruised. I enjoy deep tissue massages a great deal and had never had a bad reaction to them until I tried this place. And on top of all of this, they pressure you to tip. I will never be going back to this place despite how convenient the location is for me.

Came in for a massage because their prices are reasonable and reviews seemed good. Massage was ok. Wish it didn’t feel rushed. The reason for the 1 star is because at the end of the massage I paid and gave the lady that helped me what I thought was a reasonable tip 20%. The lady insisted I gave her more of tip because that wasn’t enough. In addition the lady at the front said tip should be 20%. I said it is. But she said no it’s not. So I was forced to give more. I don’t think they should tell you what to tip. I think tip is additional as the customer pleases and as the service was administered. Should have listened to the negative reviews on here. They all seem to be about the same thing.

I thought my massage here was pretty great. The reviews are true about them telling you what you should tip. I overheard other customers being told to tip $20 as they were leaving on a $60 service. When it was my time to pay, I didn't even give them a chance to tell me what I should tip. "$60 for the massage, and here's $15 for you. " This is well over 20%. I'm going to guess that the workers only get paid by tips and the house pockets the massage fee. If you don't mind speaking up and not letting them bully you out of your money, go here. If you have trouble standing up for yourself, either don't go here, or go and let them tell you how to tip, then come complain about it on Google. Your choice.
