The Serene Spot

I googled best massage places in New Haven and The Serene Spot popped up. I was looking for a massage last minute and I was thrilled that they could accommodate me the next day for a 60 minute deep tissue. Michelle was my therapist and she was AMAZING. She gave me one of the best massages that I’ve ever had. I will absolutely go back here and I strongly suggest that others check this place out.

I had a spinal fusion almost 1 year ago, and had just come back from vacation with lots of walking. I wanted to book a therapeutic massage on pretty short notice. A Ggogoe search led me to The Serene Spot. I booked the new client massage with an infrared sauna pod session. I'm so glad I found The Serene Spot. The massage was excellent. She hit all the right spots perfectly. As if that wasn't enough, the sauna pod took my relaxation and healing to the next level. I even almost fell asleep, and that almost never happens. Over 24 hours later, I'm still practically pain free. I think I found a new way to take care of my back, mind, and soul. And a new place to help me with that!

I received a gift certificate for The Serene Spot and was excited to try a massage there. I tried booking online, but was unsure which massage option matched my certificate. I called them so many times and no one ever answered the phone. So I decided to stop by the place in person. It was super hard to find (I even asked at Paw Haven, which they share the building with - they had never even heard of The Serene Spot). I finally located their office, only it find the door locked. So I called yet again and left a message, and they never bothered calling me back. It's a pretty good scam to get people to purchase gift certificates and then make it impossible to actually redeem the service.

Felt in love with The Serene Spot the 1st time I walked thru the door. Just had my 1st sauna treatment, and well recommend it!!! The appointment is necessary. ❤️❤️ see you guys next month.

Wish I would have found this place sooner! A month ago I had a facial by Melissa that was so relaxing and my skin has literally never looked so good. Today I had a deep tissue massage by Michele and again OMG! She paid attention to my needs and adjusted the massage to best suit me. Michele is very knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Jo was excellent, asked me where my issues were, assessed my pain points and what I've done to help, offering suggestions, and really making sure to massage my stated problem areas. She was great! The room was set up perfectly, and I was so comfortable. Can't wait to go back!

If you get regular massage work or it’s your first time. Please go check out The Serene Spot. Being an anxious person I carry alot of tension throughout my body. I’m not usually comfortable with massages due to my tension. Let me tell you, I walked out of there on clouds.Anaika and her staff are absolutely amazing. Constantly checking if you are comfortable ( not I in an overbearing manner lol). No sensory overload just pure relaxation. What an amazing experience!
