The NOW Massage Downtown New Orleans

Amazing experience at The Now. It is so peaceful and calming, I love the simple chic decor. My therapist was Felicia for an 80 min deep tissue stretching massage and she made me feel like I could melt. It was so relaxing and while gentle, her pressure was deep enough to get the deepest knots out. I haven’t had a massage in maybe years and Felicia was exactly perfect for me. When I’m back in NOLA, I will return. In the meantime, going to see if we have anyone as good as Felicia in San Diego. Thank you The Now and especially Felicia. A great ending before returning to three kids.

This place is a vibe! The decor reminds me of a cute gallery. The atmosphere is so relaxing. I did a quick 25 minute message and will definitely be coming back for a fuller session. Tom is the sweetest and he really worked my muscles during my HEALER session. He released tension I didn’t even know I had and gave me great pointers for home care and what to get in future sessions.

Lonzell at Now Spa is absolutely phenomenal! As someone who has had previous foot injuries, I have always been extremely guarded about who I allow to care for my feet. I have never felt fully comfortable or trusting in that space — until now. Lonzell was beyond outstanding. His professionalism, gentleness, and skill immediately put me at ease. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and handled my feet with such care and confidence that I felt safe the entire time. That level of trust is not something I give easily. This was not just a service — it was an experience of restoration. I left feeling cared for, relaxed, and deeply grateful. If you are hesitant, anxious, or protective about your feet like I have been, Lonzel is the person you want. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you, Lonzell, for such exceptional care!

Alexander was absolutely phenomenal! His pressure & stretches were perfect and he asked intentional questions before the massage to make sure my needs were met. The only problem I had with the massage is that I didn’t book a longer time. I will certainly come back to see him!!!

This place was centrally located and very easy to find. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and the massage area was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I loved the wave sounds during my massage—it really added to the experience. Lonzell was amazing! His hands were strong yet gentle, and he focused on all the areas we discussed before the massage that were bothering me. I felt so much better walking back to my hotel afterward.

This was my first time visiting NOW Massage, and I was truly impressed from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and valued by the entire staff. The receptionist was kind, attentive, and incredibly professional—she was juggling multiple tasks, yet never once made me feel like my needs weren’t a priority. Her warm, genuine smile set the tone for a great experience. Alexander was exceptional. He took the time to truly understand my needs in a thoughtful, thorough way that clearly led to an outstanding massage. Rather than calling attention to tension, he intuitively applied just the right amount of pressure to make a real difference. His professionalism and attentiveness were greatly appreciated. I walked out feeling completely satisfied and refreshed. I would absolutely recommend Alexander to anyone looking for an exceptional massage experience.

Where do I begin, do it NOW! This is the most amazing experience that I’ve had getting a massage. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The atmosphere transports you to a new destination, right here in New Orleans. On top of that PIA!!!! My massage therapist’s hands should have their on insurance policy because *phew*! I can’t wait to start my membership! The NOW downtown New Orleans should be your only option for relaxation. Thank you team for your amazing work!
