Honest Bodywork

Dru at Honest Bodywork is truly exceptional. I originally came in with a lot of shoulder and neck pain from years of playing volleyball, and it was starting to affect how I could move and my quality of life. Dru takes a really intentional approach, using deep tissue, cupping, and targeted bodywork to release the tension and get things moving and gliding the way they should. He’s also such a positive guy and incredibly easy to talk to, which makes the whole experience that much better. Every time I leave our sessions feeling looser, aligned, and able to keep playing volleyball with way less pain. Thank you Dru!

They canceled my appointment 20 minutes beforehand, when I was already on my way. Their cancellation policy states the client must give at least 24 hours notice or else they are charged the full amount — no exceptions, not even for a sudden illness which is what happened to the therapist (I hope she feels better soon, by the way). I guess it doesn’t go both ways, as I got an apology and an enthusiastic offer to reschedule at the full price. Doesn’t sit right with me. Disappointed. Thank you, next.

Audrey has been awesome to work with. She’s really knowledgeable and always explains what she’s doing and why, which I appreciate. I’ve had a lot of tension in my shoulders and traps and she’s already helped release a ton of it. I always leave feeling noticeably better. Really grateful to be working with her!

Honest Bodywork has such incredible massage therapists. I've been regularly seeing Audrey who is just incredible. She's been helping me address knots that have built up over years, working on the fascia using a lot of approaching including cupping. I highly recommend Audrey and Honest Bodywwork.

I have a labral tear in my shoulder compounded with frozen shoulder. I went in to see Dru and he did a phenomenal job of assessing where my issues lied within my body and when I returned to my Physical Therapist for my weekly appointment, she discovered that I had over 40 degrees improvement in my range of motion! I went from wondering if I could continue working to being able to start strength training at my physical therapy appointments. Truly remarkable!

I worked with Thavvy for neck and upper-back issues that developed from surfing. I really appreciated that she’s a surfer herself, because she immediately understood the specific movements and strain causing my pain. Her cupping work and mobility-focused techniques made a noticeable difference in my range of motion, especially with paddling. She has a calm, thoughtful approach and explains everything clearly throughout the session. I consistently leave feeling lighter, more mobile, and with significantly reduced tension.
