Healing Cuts & TABOO SF

I walked in without an appointment and Jessie Miranda fit me in and gave me a great bob cut in 45 mins (which is not easy to do). He is fantastic and very thorough! These photos are after a shower and blow dried. It is easy to take care of my hair myself so far. I love it!

Ismael has been doing my hair and beard for years and is now doing my toddlers hair. He’s great with kids and my son was smiling the whole time with no tears

I’ve gotten haircuts here from several of the barbers including Jessie and Lura and they’ve all done a fantastic job. Everyone is incredibly friendly and the service is top notch including little details like a hot face towel and massage chair when they rinse/shampoo your hair. The store is also really charming with a lot of natural light in the heart of Castro. It’s best to have an appointment but they’ve also been very accommodating for me in the past as a walk-in.

Was in SF for the weekend and just needed my beard trimming - service was 10/10 and the trim was very tidy. Would be my barbershop if I lived here

Luis did a great job on my fade. I felt very welcome and I'm glad they were able to fit me in with such short notice. The option of getting my hair cut outside was a fun change. Will def be back. Thanks again for bringing me back to life!

Raul did a great job on my fade. They used to take credit and debit cards but the last two times they no longer do, only cash and Zelle which is disappointing and not very professional for 2025. Either way, it’s a good haircut.

Ismael is an awesome barber! Healing Cuts recently opened in a new location on market so I wanted to check it out. I had an excellent experience. My cut was great and Ismael really took his time and checked in with me throughout to make sure it was what I wanted. He washed my hair too and have me a hot face towel. This made it feel like a really upscale experience but the price was still very reasonable. This will definitely be my new go-to spot!
