Massage Place

I paid $68 for a massage. At checkout, I was asked about a tip. When I said yes and asked how much, the staff member changed her facial expression and attitude and repeated twice that the minimum tip was "at least $30." That’s nearly 50% of the service price. A tip should be optional and based on service — not pressured or demanded. This behavior was rude and uncomfortable and completely ruined the experience. No goodbye, no courtesy — just pressure. I won’t be coming back!

I normally go to a different massage place in Santa Monica but I had a gift certificate, so I went here for a change. I will be going here for my massages from now on!! Lovely staff, beautiful and immaculately clean facility, and the massage was one of the best I’ve had (with Chris). I looked at the prices and they’re also unbeatable, so if you’re looking for a great massage at a great price in Santa Monica, you really can’t go wrong here!

I've seen many reviews mentioning bad experiences with Amber, and unfortunately mine wasn't any different. My phone call with her was extremely unpleasant, she came across as very rude, even raising her voice and saying I was being rude. When I asked to speak with a manager, she said she was the manager. Based on this experience, I won't be returning.

I just moved to the area and have been looking for an affordable place to get regular massages. I had a fantastic first time experience here receiving a 60-minute massage from Lek. The check in process was very professional and the facilities were better than I expected- clean with individual rooms for each person and comfortable linens. I’ve been to many basic massage spots and the bed here was the most comfortable I’ve ever received. My masseuse, Lek, impressed me with her intuitive touch and diverse skills that included a combo of Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, and reflexology. She took the time before to understand areas I wanted attention and even gave me some advice after for stretches to help those areas. The pricing for the hour was clear from the beginning ($66) and I tipped $30 bc I was so impressed by the overall service and respect the demanding job of a massage therapist. I will be returning.

This place leaves me super relaxed. Admittedly sometimes I come here twice a week to see my favorite therapist Ohn. Her flow + her knowledge of the body is amazing and I can’t even see anyone else because she’s so great! I have also seen Naomi who has a great flow and harder pressure. Either way this is my favorite place 🙂

I’ve been going here for over 10 years. I have a regular person I’ve seen for over 3 years. And, I have tried several other people at this location. I have found all of them to be good. It is not offering a fancy atmosphere, it’s offering great massages at a reasonable price. That said, the place has a good feel and always feels fresh and clean and quiet and comfortable. The people are nice and friendly as well. I highly recommend this place.

I should’ve looked at the reviews before I signed up for a massage. The owner I guess her name is Carrol is not very well liked and poorly rated. I had explained to her explicitly that I had knee surgery and I wanted my quads worked on and my feet as well. She told the masseuse to give me a full body massage. When she started on my back, I called out to the receptionist and told her to explain to my masseuse what I wanted done she just spent half the massage doing the back of my legs and butt. I received about 15 minutes on the front of my legs and only Maybe five minutes on each quad. I should’ve got up after the first half hour but she’s just started to work on what I wanted done. This was not the masseuse‘s fault. She was very good, but when I tried to explain to Carrol the owner, she tried to lay the blame on me that I didn’t explain what I wanted. I then told her I filled out the sheet and explain to her what my problems were. She still put the blame on me and told me that even though I had a specific problem, everybody gets a full body massage because it’s all connected. When I started to question her on this, she told me I had a bad attitude. I pity the masseuses that work for her and will never go back.
