First time at Bamboo Wood, and I love it! She really tried to get rid of my back knots with deep tissue massage. I love the hot stones. I’m definitely coming back.

They’re really professional at there work. I like the vibes, super clean and relax music. They do hard pressure massage which is amazing. You can also ask them to reduce the pressure and they will. I’m glad that I found this place. I’ll be coming here once a week.

It's my "low cost" massage go to place. It offer whole body massage in an open or semi private space. You will be sharing a bench to lay on for 1-2 hours with 15 others, so it's not your luxurious, white linen, scented room with candles, robes and soothing music. It's where you go in and out when you don't have time to book an appointment, but want to get a nice deep massage. You can ask them to adjust their hand pressure and work on the areas you need to relief the most. I have been going there monthly for 4 years and whenever I travel through. I love massages but can not afford to go to my OC local massage center on a regular basis for $90 per hour plus tips. So I love to get additional massages at Bamboo for $25 per hour, especially when you find a masseuse you like. Enjoy you massages....it's so good for you!!!!

The place is not that bad. 20 an hour full body massage is a good deal. Just hope that you get a good masseuse. You can try different masseuse/masseur til you find the one you like. I am happy with Liza. My first time there, she massaged me. And I never picked anyone else.

Notice to Women: This establishment appears to be frequented by mostly men (at least the one time that I went). While the value of a Groupon (if you have one) is great for the massage you received (my girl was excellent), the overall vibe and ambience will deter me from coming back. You are in one big room with a bunch of beds next to each other. This is fine but it's a little too close for comfort in that you can clearly hear snores, conversations, grunts, massage slaps and body stretches, talking in the lobby, cell phone sounds, etc. Also, they pull your underwear down halfway down your butt for the entire room to see, with the masseurs and masseuses walking away from time to time to get towels and hot stones. I also found the front desk to be a little pushy in asking for a large tip.

Great place. Been coming here for years. I know it's going to sound funny, but I actually love this place because of the oil and lotion they use. Lol. Strange I know, but I can't stand when getting a massage and going places and feeling sticky/oily on my clothes and rubbing off on the inside of the car. Especially if you have work to do the rest of the day. So whatever they use here it's nice. The skill of the staff is hit/miss. Just like any other place. Some are absolutely great. But unfortunately sometimes they move/leave and you have to try a different masseuse with a different style. It can be disappointing when people leave. Primary language of the staff is Chinese. Some speak great English. Most speak passable English (where to focus on, how much pressure, etc.). I like to use google translate to convey how much pressure and what spots to avoid if I have injury. It's a small place on the second floor above another massage parlor. The "rooms" are curtained. There's a bathroom. No walls/closed rooms. The place seems consistently clean. I never have smelled any weird smells or seen any dirty/re-used towels. When I finish my massage I see them taking everything off and replacing with new linen/towels. So that's always good. (You'd think this should be standard but I've seen other places not always do this). Affordable ($35 per hour). Leave a good tip for them please. You might think 10% is standard and 20% is generous. But this isn't a restaurant. Most people don't understand this isn't like Massage Envy (base pay + tips). The $35 you pay doesn't go to them. They live off tips. Most places like this operate this way.
