Trio Charlotte

I've been to Trio a few times and I love the vibe it gives. It's a house/EDM scene and they bring in good talent to the heart of Southend.

I had a great experience. It was a bit chill in the beginning from like 10pm-12:30am. Then it got really lit from 12:30-1:45 when I left. This was my first time going so it was an experience ✨. I will say if you are claustrophobic, and don’t like people surrounding you or have epilepsy … find something else. There was a lot of people close to me at all times walking through you and finding the tiniest gap. Also while people are dancing they may hit you but if you can understand the atmosphere and what comes with going to clubs like this it’s great. The smoke and confetti was top notch and I had such a great time.

I love electronic music/ dancing and this is 1 of the 2 best venues in Charlotte for it. Trio is a pretty small club and holds probably 400. The sound system is the best in Charlotte and the lights are the best too. They have LCD panels lining the ceiling and feature psychedelic patterns that shift throughout the night. The staff is nice but the security personnel aren't very nice unfortunately but that's something I see at most clubs these days. They feature mainly house DJs, specifically big name Tech House DJs from around the world. It can get really crowded when big headliners are playing but there is a little room other nights. The ticket price varies depending on the DJ generally it's between $25 and $50 when international talent is on the bill. Come by and check it out, I'll be tearing up the dance floor

What an incredible nightclub! Finally, Charlotte has an authentic world class EDM club. Attended the Cloonee show a few weeks back and got the full VIP experience. The view from up top is amazing and the visuals are all in your face. Trio is truly unlike any other club I’ve ever seen in the Carolinas and such a gorgeous spectacle with a great classy vibe. The audio/visuals are spectacular and you can immediately see where the $$$ went. The sound system is by far one of the clearest and pristine rigs I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing. Trust me, I’ve heard Void, Funktion-One, and a lot of the top brands, but this ranks up there with the best of the best. You don’t have to yell, your ears don’t ring, and can hear every single note above the hard-hitting bass that doesn’t distort whatsoever. The mind blowing lighting made my jaw drop, and the quality of those moving fixtures, blinding strobes, and crispness of those lasers… wow! Those incredible wavy LED pixels on the ceiling along with the expansive dj booth video wall took me to another world. Can’t wait to return soon, and thanks again for a wonderful night! So much fun! Loved hearing Nine West!

Paid $40 in advance for a ticket (they are more at the door - $60) and was inside for less than an hour before deciding to leave. The venue was completely oversold, it was so packed that no one could move or even breathe comfortably. It felt genuinely unsafe and like a serious hazard waiting to happen. I’ve been to this venue multiple times before, and yes, it’s usually packed but nothing like what I experienced on 10/25. This time was on another level. There was no room to move, no view of the stage from anywhere, and the crowd was completely gridlocked. There was so much pushing, shoving and frustration within the crowd not to mention all the drinks that were constantly getting spilled down everyones back because of arm knocking and not being able to move. We even went up to the desk to talk to someone about how overcrowded it was, but were told there was nothing they could do. That’s unacceptable. Overselling tickets to this extent isn’t just disappointing it’s a major safety concern. I was excited to come back, but after last night, I won’t be returning. No event is worth paying that much just to be packed in like that.

Great club and best nightlife experience in all of Charolette. Bottle service is also top notch! They get the best DJs around to provide you with the most awesome time you’ve had in a while. The lights, visuals, lasers, smoke cannons and confetti all come together to make you feel like you are in a different world. All employees were super polite and respectful from the bouncers to the bottle girls and everyone in between. Great vibes and you will feel like you’re on cloud nine from the time you step in the door. Would 100% recommend for anyone seeking a lit nightlife experience in Charolette!
