The Blue Light

I was so eager for this place to open and it exceeded my expectations. The space is creative and has all the feels. We had an event there and the staff worked with us and gave us the freedom to throw down one of the most spectacular nights I will always remember!! I also got to learn the back story on how this bar came about. There’s a story there and it’s cool to feel apart of it!

This was a fun club! Visited while on vacation in Chattanooga wanted to experience some night life and we got to do just that! Definitely will return next time I'm in town. They had plenty of security, the DJ was hilarious and played a nice variety, servers were friendly and appear to enjoy their job we were also told they were 420 friendly and it was reasonably priced to get in. Drinks were average price for clubs. It's down little alley where a couple of other bars are and even before going in it was pretty lit on the street

My sister, best friend, and I read reviews and thought this would be a great place to go for a girls night out. We were one of 2 small groups who arrived first. We bought several rounds of drinks & shots as we awaited the night to come to life. We seated ourselves in the corner, closest to the bar, on some couches. We were there maybe 1.5 hours as the DJ started to play and partiers began rolling in. Suddenly, one of the wait staff comes to tell us we need to move because they just sold our spot to another group! Wait, what??? Seriously? I asked if they'd just arrived. She told us yes, sorry. After we'd been there for 2 hours, spent well over $100 in drinks, we're told we can't sit there because they sold it to someone else right out from under us. Didn't even ask if we wanted it first. RUDE! The DJ lacking anyway, so we took our party across the street and had an amazing time. Don't waste your time here. Drinks are way to overpriced, DJ didn't take requests (even when tipped), and staff will sell your seat out from under you.

Update review: this is a great place to go dancing with friends. The security guy who I had a bad experience with when this club first open I believe was fired or left. WORST experience ever!!! This dude was so racist and rude I have no words. (The white guy) He needs to be fired! So power hungry. Never in my life have I experienced such bad service. We waited in line for an hour or so. He allowed people to cut in front of us. I’m not sure his name but someone help a sister out.

Best club I've been to in town. People who think it's dangerous need to grow a pair, it's not any more dangerous than any other club or bar downtown. Security seems to be tighter here than other places as well. Music is great, drinks aren't outrageously priced, get there earlyish and there's not much of a line. It's crowded sure because everyone wants to be there. If you want somewhere with no people and space visit the library

I came in town for the weekend and wanted to experience some night life. I came across The blue Light on Google and decided to try it out. When we got there it was kind of early the drinks were a decent price the bartenders were nice and the music was bomb. We will def be coming back and the blue light is going to be our spot. The line was crazy as we were leaving so we know what time we will get there . It was a vibe thanks so much for the amazing time.

The Blue Light is an excellent addition to Chattanooga’s nightlife. The staff and bartenders are always pleasant, the drinks are amazing, music is on point, and you can reserve a section for table/bottle service. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure your experience is a great one. I will definitely be returning and making more memories here!
