I just moved to Colorado Springs and my first experience was whiskey baron. I moved from Vegas where country was the highlight. I made alot of friends at whiskey baron and enjoyed going every week even though the music was the same. After the rebranding the joy and warmth was sucked dry from that place and the new management drove all the regulars away claiming they did not drink so they did not want them there. The lack of connection with the Colorado Springs group is the main reason I don’t want to go anymore. Cowboys is prob the hotness of Colorado Springs now. Just wish they played more country music west coast swing dancers could dance too.

Not a bad place to see a concert. Good size while still being cozy. Good bands and vibe. However, they don't seem to know how to run a honky tonk. There are three bars and each one had a line around the corner, 40-50 people in each line. Waited over an hour, yes an hour, to get a beer. Only one bartender at each bar! The bartenders were working hard but they should have a beer bar that is turning drinks like crazy. They can have a cocktail bar somewhere else. No idea how much money they're losing by not servicing the hundreds of patrons wanting drinks. Need more staff or efficiencies. The lines did subside when them main act got on stage.

The Whiskey Rose is a great venue. It has a small town feel with big town energy. Under new management it has brought live music, dance classes and family nights.

Long-time Whisky Baron regular here. Gave the Rose a shot last night to see 'A Thousand Horses'. Haven't been there since the re-badge, probably won't go back. As expected, well known bands draw a crowd that really only wants to see the band. You have to buy pricey tickets to get in. When the main act was done (11pm), everyone left. The energy was flat. The DJ played grunge and non-country top 40 songs in between sets. When the main act went on, about half the dance floor was people standing around (with drinks on the dance floor, mind you), and the rest attempting to dance in the back half of the floor. My spouse and I got 3 drinks each. Total was $129. It's not a country dance hall anymore, with crazy energy till 2am. It's a smaller version of Boot Barn now. Unsure how or why the owners think this is a better format, when you lose 3 hours of alcohol sales when the main act is done and everyone goes to Cowboys or home. I miss the Baron. If you want to actually dance, choose a different place.

I attended the Bryan Martin and Thomas Mac concerts this past week. It was a wonderful change from the past. I guess you don’t know how bad something is (Whiskey Baron) until you see something great in its place (Whiskey Rose). Some of my favorite concerts have been at the Whiskey Baron but over the past two years the quality and quantity of shows, sound, lightning and safety has really gone downhill. The Whiskey Rose is very customer service oriented. All of the staff I met were very nice and informative. One immediate positive change was that security was present and not just playing on their phones. I felt very safe there. Yes, they might charge you a cover and charge for drinks but that is a good business model. What company would want to do business if losing money by giving everything away for free? Whiskey Rose is a professional level concert venue. The new stage with the big screen is amazing. I am very excited that they are partnering with the Grizzly Rose to bring bigger acts to Colorado Springs. The prices for these concerts are a bargain. Parking is free. Drink prices are reasonable. I suggest everyone come and check out Whiskey Rose!

Amazing set up with great staff, Kenny and Dallas YOU ARE AMAZING. This spot is a must visit. We enjoyed all the line dancing, hoping to learn some of the moves on our next visit. Dry rub wings are out of this world. The Band 🤩. Just go!!!

First time back last night since this was the whiskey baron. Went for the Randall King concert. I won’t be going back again, for anything. Sold out concert and the venue only had 3 bartenders. Stood in line FOR 55 MINUTES, to get a beer. Bartender was more interested in having conversations with people instead of her job. Drinks are more overpriced than I thought they would be. Go somewhere else for a concert.
