What a waste of a large amount of money. Full of promises they don’t fulfill. They are selling you a great idea yet the company doesn’t even come close to following through on their promises. They won’t let you cancel even after going to events which very people are there and the majority of attendees were women, and the men who were there were much older than I was at the time. As a straight woman, this wasn’t appealing at all nor was it the experience that I was looking for and promised. They won’t let you cancel your membership before a year is up and they make it extremely difficult cancel which is an another huge red flag. This is a scam and an expensive one at that. I’m embarrassed I fell for their bullshit and wasted all of my hard earned money. Don’t fall for it! They lie in interviews and tell you it’s something worthwhile and worth the money and it’s ABSOLUTELY NOT!

I do not recommend signing up with them. I have been with them for a year, and when I requested my statement, I discovered that they had added dues that were never agreed upon during the interview, and no one informed me about them. These extra charges amount to about $360. They also added an additional $250 on top of the full membership fee. Many members do not attend events because of the high cost of the daily and monthly activities. During the interview, I was told that the events would be cheaper since we are a large group, but this is not true—in fact, they make us pay more. I am now requesting a refund of the extra, unauthorized charges, and they are refusing. They do not care about anyone after the contract is signed and are absolutely not trustworthy.

When I signed up for the service they had me take an interview. I'm 25 and I've never used a service like this one. In the interview, I asked whether or not there would be people around my age. They assured me that there would be plenty of people my age and it wouldn't be a problem. That was completely false. Most events I went to had a lot of older people, which isn't a problem, but it was hard for me to connect with them. They also said that most events would be free. They were not. Even if it was free in regards to Events & Adventure, it was not free upon arrival. When I tried to cancel the service after expressing my disappointment, they refused to let me cancel it. So I canceled it through my bank instead. Then I started receiving notices that they would send my account to collections unless I pay an exorbitant amount for the service that I cancelled and didn't use. I am currently trying to lower the settlement amount but they are refusing even though I have made them fully aware that I cannot afford the settlement amount. I was never made aware that this service would send me to collections. All in all, a terrible service and a terrible experience. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS.

I joined E&A in June 2024 and my experience as a member has been amazing. I've tried experiences I would have never done on my own. Our events director works hard to create meaningful experiences for everyone so there's lots to choose from. I was outside of my comfort zone at first but quickly met welcoming members that made me feel right at home. Just came back from our Labor Day Weekend Bash in Galveston, Texas, and I was very pleased with the fun activities arranged for us. So looking forward to taking another longer trip organized by E&A. I already recommend this membership to several friends.

If you are new to the area and are looking to meet new people and see what there is to do in the area this is the organization to join. In addition, it is a great way to possibly meet a significant other while doing activities you enjoy. I have met life long friends through this organization. When I first joined E&A I was new to the area and deeply depressed. I had just gotten out of a bad relationship and moved to Dallas not knowing anyone. I quickly found a place where I could be myself have fun and meet friends for life. The event coordinator always finds fun places to hold events and interesting things to do. I had never heard of whirly ball, bubble soccer, fowling, activate games, etc. There are also several restaurants and places I would have never gone to if I didn't join. Events are held everyday of the week and you can go to as many or as little as you want. If I can't attend an event and just want to hangout with someone I can easily pick up the phone and call someone in the group. In addition, there are away trips to other countries you can go to that is all organized for you. If you are unhappy and looking for a place to meet friends, a significant other, find interesting places to go and have fun join Events and Adventures of Dallas.

The clientele is not as high class as the price. The age range is much older, so I would not recommend this for anyone younger than 35 minimum. It is a very expensive membership fee plus access charges on top. And availability is limited. It does open you up to finding new activities in the city, but I didn’t make any long term connections romantically or platonically. They just took my money the last 6 months of my contract. I stopped trying to go to events. It was too uncomfortable for me.

E&A was so much fun with host Jay. We did the WINE WALK ON THE STRIP (DALLAS) and had so much fun. It was nice to do an event that was inclusive of the LGBTQIA+ and feel like I had an event especially for me. Jay was one of the best host making by sure we had wristbands to identify our group if we got lost and thankfully it worked as I did end up posting the group a few times. We not only got to have wine but we ended the night having karaoke at Sue Ellen’s. This was such a fun night and we need more events like this for sure.
