Velvet Nightclub

This place is amaaazing! I love that they offer a guest list, so you don’t have to worry about paying a cover fee. If you book a table, you’re guaranteed a great spot to settle in and enjoy the night. The service is super quick, the bartenders are fantastic, and the energy is always on point. The vibe feels so real and alive. On top of that, they host incredible special guests and drag shows that make every visit unforgettable. I would 100% recommend this place if you’re in Honolulu. ✨🌈

Velvet is hands down one of the most fun spots to go out. The energy is always on point, the crowd is great, and the bartenders truly make the experience. Everyone behind the bar is friendly and brings the vibes, but special shoutout to Bruno — I was so happy to see him back behind the bar. He’s always welcoming, fun, and genuinely makes you want to stay for another round. 10/10, honestly the main reason I keep coming back.

Bartender was offended we didn’t tip for two tiny shots that cost nearly $40 after he handed us a container of salt when my friend asked for some for our shots 💀 He needs to find another place to work. This bar was awful there was like 10 people there on a Saturday night- do not recommend! We went to Hula’s Bar and Lei Stand before this god awful place and had a great time there!!

Velvet stay one vibe. Bar staff and door crew always solid, super nice, no stress. Bruno behind the bar be straight eye candy, plus his energy go crazy. Always good times, always fun.

Can’t believe how many good reviews there is for this place. Idk if we just had bad luck but the bouncer tried to triple charge us for cover, and the bartenders got mad at us for not tipping for water (?????). The club was super dead and the drinks were WAY overpriced. Such a bummer way to end our night. 🙁 Edit: it seems most of the reviews are fake (most of the 5-star reviews are from profiles for which this nightclub is the only review). Shame on y’all.

Great music, great AC, not overcrowded, and pure fun. Bruno behind the bar brings the vibes (and the dance moves), plus the claw machine and unicorn are iconic. Velvet stays winning.

🌈 Velvet nightclub is my new favorite spot to party at on the weekends! The venue is clean, and has really great sounds and lighting. Their staff are all amazing as well. I always go and visit their bartender Shane, he’s the best!
