Place sucks any other bar or club In Lubbock is better , you have to be lucky to have fun and don’t get me started on the bouncers and bar girls who would kick you out because they want to , no real reasons . I’d stay away and go to logies or something else. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A CLUB THAT WILL KICK YOU OUT FOR TALKING TO GIRLS. DO NOT GO !
I was super excited to see Lbk finally got a K-pop Night! Ecstatic and enthusiastic even. My first night at a club ever, and actually, I was pretty dissapointed :/ For the first few hours (9-12) I heard exactly 7-12 kpop songs. So I was super confused. Why would the DJ be playing western music when it was marketed as a K-pop Night? Not only did this dissapoint me, it dissapointed many of my friends and mutuals and other kpop fans who came for the experience. I left around 12:30, and while I did hear they started to actually play more kpop, it wasnt much and most songs were being repeated. Multiple fans had gone up to request kpop songs, and the responses given to us by the DJ felt a little unsatisfactory. We were told quite a few times that she'd 'play them in a bit.' The time incriments were usually 30-45 minutes of random music and then 3 kpop songs. Which to me was also really weird as the group hosting the event had a 5+ hour playlist specifically made for this night. The crowd was actually so fun when k-pop was playing! But when it went back to whatever else everyone kind of just stood there and multiple ppl were even holding signs on their phone saying 'Play k-pop' or 'play [song name] by [bg/gg]' Overall, I'm not too sure how likely it is I'd come again as Culture didn't exactly adhere to the theme, and staff felt a little unfriendly at times ^^;
Cool place I had a great time here during gay pride
It was fun just not enough people
This is the place to go
