My second time at Hush! This time it was a much different experience, probably because we came after midnight. There was $10 cover at the door. They have nice coat check in area. There are two floors, a bar in each floor. First floor is pretty basic. The restrooms are all gender and an attendee supervises guests going in and out. Much needed service for keeping the area functional. Second floor is where the main party is. There are multiple performers, DJ is amazing, crazy good songs. The bar on second floor is smaller but good enough to serve the needs of the guests. They have tables and benches available that is used a lot by the guests. Overall it was a nice clubbing experience and would be happy to be back next time.

To be frank, I’ve never been to a bar where I felt fully included and immersed in the programming. The ambiance and the culture that is cultivated is truly something special. I’ve never felt so safe to live my life to the fullest and have a true night out before I came to hush. Q the manager truly is a gem, he makes everyone feel welcome and makes sure that this "safe space" actually feels like a safe place for its inhabitants. This is one of the first gay bars I’ve been too and it left an impression on me that big I’ll last for a long time. It’s my favorite gay bar for a reason. If you haven’t experienced it, do yourself a favor and try it out.

I visited last night with two friends and was surprised by the inconsistent enforcement of conduct rules. Security threatened to remove my friends for a three-way kiss, with the guard explicitly stating, 'You can't do that here.' It is confusing that a gay bar in NYC would police a brief moment of affection between three people. The experience felt unwelcoming and out of step with the inclusive environment you'd expect from this venue.

I mean, great service, sexy dancers, amazing ambiance. It can get a little raunchy but still fun. The security is great and stays on top of the crowd keeping the atmosphere tolerable. Drinks are good and great bartenders. They do need better coat checking services tho.

Hush has quickly become one of my favorite gay spaces in Manhattan! The staff is incredibly friendly, the crowd is diverse, and the energy is always top-tier. Whether it’s a drag show that’ll have you laughing your ass off, dancing way past your bedtime, or their new monthly movie nights (that have officially cured my Sunday Scaries)—there is never a dull moment here. The manager, Q, truly goes above and beyond to create a space that feels welcoming, safe, and full of life. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guest experience and the community. If you’re looking for a spot to vibe, meet some amazing humans, and get your money’s worth with those heavy pours (🥰), do yourself a favor and go to Hush. 10/10 recommend.

Thank you, Q, for inviting me into your place — it was truly a night to remember. I don’t know if you’re the owner or the manager, but either way, you should be proud of what you’ve built. The first faces I met were Taquan and Santos on security. More than just bouncers, they set the tone right away — cool, funny, and welcoming, the kind of people who make you feel safe but also make you want to hang out with them all night. Then there was Elise at the door, handling everything with such warmth and professionalism, making me feel like I was exactly where I belonged. Inside, the coat check team were smooth and efficient — drop your bag, drop your worries, and step into another world. And what a world it was. The stained glass glowing against dark brick, music pulsing through every corner, dancers commanding tables and poles in barely-there outfits, and a crowd that radiated good energy. I danced until closing — on a Sunday night. If this is Sunday, I can’t even imagine the fire that Fridays must bring. Hush isn’t just a bar. It’s not just a club. It’s an experience, a fever dream, a story you want to brag about. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on the sexiest, most intoxicating night in New York City.
