Cozzy's Comedy Club & Tavern

Cozzy’s is such a great place that is heavily underrated. The staff is one of a kind and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The comedians that are scheduled are typically very funny and will have you laughing the entire night. For $15, you can’t beat it. The food is good and the portions are pretty great. We have been here numerous times and couldn’t recommend Cozzy’s enough for your weekend night entertainment. We will continue to visit and enjoy our experiences!

It had been so long since we had last visited that we didn't get our tickets online. Big mistake! Get your tickets ahead of time. Luckily, the owner sat us at the bar. We really enjoyed the show. The host, opening act, and headliner had us all crying laughing. The food was decent. We did not care for the cheese sticks, just not cooked in the center. The bartender was amazing. She hustles non-stop and is always friendly and accommodating. Someone in the group wanted to play pool, but the tables were in the smoking section of the place, and someone else in the group could not handle the smoke. They do have an air quality machine right at the door to this section that keeps the smell out of the main area.

This place is so awesome. Has that hole in the wall feeling with authentically great food and a super energetic atmosphere. Always a solid choice for a Saturday night!

Y'all if you have never been in telling you Newport news get out and GO ! they have amazing staff ava and the other two girls are a blessing the comedians are funny the staff is 100/10 please go the food was great the drinks where hitting please go

Tonight was sooooooooooooo good. My husband did his first comedy set and he was great!

Very reasonably priced food and drinks. I highly recommend the pretzel sticks. Loaded fries, on the other hand... not great. My wife got a margarita and I got a ginger highball. They were both made perfectly. The show was absolutely amazing. Particularly the host and the headliner (Tracy Locke)... not to say the guys in between weren't good. The way the place is set up, everything is pretty close to the stage, so good view so matter where you sit. Definitely coming back. Could use more bathrooms though....
