Utah Country Dance (Tippin Point)

It's fun... if your it least in your 20's and you know what your doing, I've been here multiple times and personally i don't think it's that great. It's dark and seems kinda grungy, also some of the people are sketch. Everyone there is good at what they do tho, even if that is taking there shirts of during line dances, and the people are generally nice. Overall don't come here if your a beginner, I would recommend peak nights as there are more less experienced people to dance with.

Great environment, great people, great culture. I like the mix of line and swing dances, it seems appropriate. I enjoy that earlier in the night they will do some teaching segments and later in the night it's more just for dancing and people who already know their stuff. The lighting is relatively dark, which I really like. My favorite country swing dance spot by far. Also super affordable. Good place for beginners AND more advanced dancers. I like how they have a variety of crowd-engagement tactics to keep things fun for us.

I’ve attended this dance hall for years and it has seriously fallen off, they no longer care about the quality of dancing or the safety of their attendees. They exceed fire code all the time and keep letting people in, one employee literally bragged that they had 800 people come. The capacity is like 450. People are rude and no one is considerate while dance ive been kicked so many time by people doing lifts on a floor that you can’t spin in without hitting someone. My hope is they do better, this place was such a key part of my early 20s and it’s a husk of what it used to be.

This place it's great! If you want to learn how to country swing you should come here. It's a great atmosphere and nearly everyone would love to help you learn the regulars are the best!!! This place was really fun. It was great to meet people and they do a good job teaching you how to swing dance. Draws a good crowd. This place gets insanely hot so be sure to dress in a short sleeve shirt. The guys lead the swing dancing so watch a couple of YouTube videos before hand if you’ve never done it before. Also the space to dance gets a little small because there are so many people. The line dances are great!

I love Tippin Point! They have an instruction session from 830-930pm, and then open the dance floor. A good mixture of line dances and normal. People are friendly and willing to help you learn new tricks. The space is a little awkward with the two rooms, but there is a good community and a great experience.

Great atmosphere and super friendly folks. Family friendly, no alcohol served—just bottled water and Gatorade. It was easy to meet new people, and some even taught me a couple of dance moves. There are some pretty advanced country swing dancers, but lots of beginners too. Lots of fun!
