Terminal 8 - Bar & Lounge

We had a blast at The Game Day Party. Music bingo, poetry, line dancing, spades, unofficial, music, food and the drinks were popping.

​The venue's location is good and the crowd level was moderate. Bar service was fairly quick, though the staff wasn't particularly welcoming. ​The biggest issue is the complete lack of administrative or management follow-up. I've attempted to make multiple inquiries via phone, website, and direct email, and have received absolutely no response. This suggests that management is either non-existent or completely unresponsive to customer communication. ​The venue has potential, but the poor administrative support prevents me from adding it to my recommendation list.

The owner, I believe her name is Vanessa (I'm not certain) but the skinny AA lady. She definitely has a nasty disposition about her. I was sitting on the patio amdnwas preparing to leave. The back entrance was roped off so I asked if I could leave that way... She rolled her eyes amd waved her hand as of yes girl..leave. I looked atbher and asked what's up with the nasty attitude? She turned her head and I just left. I went on taco Tuesday, the tacos are street sized and only options were beef and chicken although the flyer read vegan options would be available. I definitely will not be returning to this place!

Great atmosphere first off. Really enjoyed the open mic night. Only reason this place doesn't get higher is the bartenders. When we entered in they didn't seem pleased and happy to be there. Drinks were terrible, regardless of specials I order a jack and coke and for $12 I got a tiny plastic cup not even filled. Plus the soda was completely flat. Neither bartender were really engaged especially when me and my group were the only ones that made a second stop to the bat to that point. After we asked the one for a tequila drink, to show us what she came up with, she proceeded to "say I'll make this drink if you look out for us after". Wasn't sure how to take that. Overheard them ask the other tender what she would charge and she said $15. For a tiny plastic cup full of nothing but juice I think you charging me that was me looking out. Would go again for atmosphere but would definitely pre-game before because the bar was not good.

This is a great space, nice seating and environment! Love that they host city soul cafe on Wednesdays. Great drinks and even better bartenders.

Nice big space just the time we went wasn't very busy. It was the night of Halloween.

Wednesday open mic night is a whole vibe I enjoyed it
