Sky SLC

Cool space perfectly laid out for a dance club! The stage area and lighting are well done. We went to a night with DJ Bangarang. The music is rave plus hip hop. I bit of a strange mix and some transitional phases are are little awkward but we had fun and enjoy most of the music. The crowd is quite young! Entry price is very reasonable. There are at least four tables reserved for birthday parties. The layout appear to be appropriate for birthday parties

SKY SLC is one of the best nightclubs in Salt Lake City for electronic music lovers! The vibe here is always energetic, with great DJ performances and an awesome crowd. The sound system is top-notch—crisp, powerful, and perfect for dancing all night. The bar has a solid selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, so there’s something for everyone. Plus, the bathrooms are surprisingly clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus in a club. If you're into electronic music and a fun, welcoming atmosphere, SKY SLC is a must-visit. Recommend!

This place was packed! The bathrooms were clean the security and staff were courteous and professional. There was water and cups available. Drinks were expensive, $10 a shot but rooftop and simpcity are worth the night out. Free before 10 , $20 cover after

I moved to SLC a little over a year ago (at the time of writing this review) and have been to 3 shows here: Chromeo, Rusko, and Shiba San and the vibes were immaculate at all three of these shows. The staff has always been polite and respectful. The PK Sound rig in SKY sounds SOOOO good. The lights they added are awesome, too.

Dont bring a printed paper ID that is issued by the DMV cause the employess working 20$ hourly wont let you in lmao because they dont know the rules or regulations from UTAH state or their roles or a picture. Bad experience overall. Her name was adison and she was the best everything else was a waste of time and money(parking, ticket, and or drinks)

Really fun place, all the staff were friendly. Nice lighting, but as others mentioned the speakers are blown out and the audio quality is pretty awful. But other than that it's a great time

Edit: Initial post was emotionally driven, I would like to edit my review. After showing up early, I was curious about all the negative reviews. They seemed extreme. Upon arrival I was talking to security before they opened. Mentioned I work security at times and understand what they did. After entering i was impressed by the whole thing. I wanted to promote them here with a review. Loved the DJ!! I was impressed with the usage of space and the seriously awesome design. I started taking pictures before it filled up, showcasing the space. After taking my final crowd pics, security rushes up on me with intimidation tactics. Demanding my ID again. Confused, having done NOTHING wrong, i handed it to him asking what was wrong. he then proceeded to tell me I was making people nervous by taking a lot of pictures, accusing me of being DABC, and embarrassed me. After he takes a picture of my ID, which is illegal for a security officer to do if there's no crime committed, I humiliated left. P.S. I am a Veteran with PTSD so i enjoy crowds from the edge.
