I loveeeeee this club. There’s a reason they win all those awards and ranked #1 in so many things. They have fun dancers, great drinks and amazing music. My favorite thing is providing water at each bar (there’s a lot) that shows much they care about the safety and hydration of everyone <3 I especially love the respectful pat down before going in and it feels like an inviting judgment free zone. With revolving events every day and a huge dance floor, what’s not to love?

I come to San Antonio every year for a conference and every year I make it a point to bring my friends to Bonhams. The bartenders are great, the dance floor is fun, the outdoor area with the taqueria is a great break, and the doorman and host Marcus is an absolute doll 💜 we’ve been coming here for years and they always recognize us and I look forward to it every year. Thank y'all for always making it a great experience 💜

Back in the day this may have been a gay bar but it’s now "gay friendly". They played good music but had no inventory so they were out of a lot of drinks. Very straight college vibe

My entire group of friends were kicked out before the night even started. 5 of my friends went payed 75 dollars just to get in to the club, 2 of us are 21 and the 3 were under 21. We started danceing and one of the undercover workers said that my friend took a drink out of my cup. We tried to explain that her water cup was next to my drink but the lady came up and was rude to me and all of my friends accusing us of underage drinking and shouting accusations not letting any of us talk when we finally told security what happened they said they had to kick us out anyway. Which I understand but to the undercover please actually make sure you saw what you did before shouting accusations no refund no apology just kicked out for doing nothing wrong. Honestly why would I even do that it makes no sense she just felt like she needed to justify her job. They made me sign a paper saying I was supplying alcohol to minors and if I didn't sign it I was banned forever. First time kicked out of club and I did nothing wrong. Tried to ask them to check the cameras multiple times and they refused to check them to prove our innocence. If you plan to come here make sure everyone is above 21 or you'll get kicked out for nothing. I won't be coming back.

So yes...this is a drag gay club, but the music and atmosphere was very neutral. The outside bar and patio had great drinks and a taco vendor. There are two to three levels. Each with their own music styles. Had a fun time.
