Spin Nightclub

Best club in SD in my opinion. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, free parking. I prefer this club over the Gaslamp clubs because it isn't bougie. Spin brings a diverse mix of clientele that come for the music and atmosphere. Seriously, take a minute to appreciate how many people are actually dancing on the dance floor next time you're here. Spin is the place I like to visit in between festivals when I need positive vibes to recharge my social battery. The dress-code is casual so come dressed to for comfort.

The place is pretty decent, the sound is good. Drinks can vary from 9 to $12 for a beer or a white claw. Restrooms are clean, only downside is there are only three toilets for the girls restroom and that can get crowded. Overall, I would recommend and would return.

I came down from LA for a friend’s birthday and had bottle service. Devin was absolutely amazing and made the night so great. She was welcoming, fun, and brought the perfect vibe to our group and made our birthday girl feel so special. I will for sure drive 3 hours to come back to Spin to see Devin and all of the people who provided the great customer service we experienced.

Had an experience where it was escalated to the floor manager. Great de escalation and conversation where both of us talked through the situation and found a resolve where both parties came to a solution. Solid customer service where concerns were addressed in a professional manner. Even the head of security received the feedback and escalated in an appropriate manner. 2 levels of management addressed the concern from the customer. This is what folks look for when dealing with concerns. Solid job spin. No spite. No disrespect. Just 3 working professionals working though a concern. Plus. Bartenders and music were on point. Couldn’t ask for more. Total time to resolve: 5 minutes. Excellent job setting the standard for other venues here in San Diego.

I love going here to chill with friends for an after party! They’re open late, have lots of space to dance around or hang out, and multiple bars to keep the great drinks flowing. Upcoming and well known DJ’s always on rotation 🖤

Best club in San Diego, with the best music and best parties. I appreciate that it’s all about the dance floor(s) and lounge areas at Spin, not bottle service and VIP areas like most places downtown. They book awesome talent, and it’s not just mainstream house all the time. Some nights they open the rooftop too which I love!

The worst sound in San Diego. The place is nice and cozy, friendly staff, bar is ok, but what’s the point? Their sound system and all those lights suck. Got a feeling it was a club from the late 90s. Even a good DJ couldn’t make a difference. Probably would not return unless they make some improvements
