This venue is great. I've been here for several shows from rock n roll or edm, even a 360 show. I always had a good time here. The man and woman bathrooms are very far apart from one another which was a little unusual from most venues I've been too. Parking is not too bad either. There's meters and there is parking place next door that's only $10-20. After the show ends we usually finish the night at In-n-out to satisfy any post midnight hunger.
Fantastic venue with resonable pricing, actually friendly service, good sound, and an epic history of legendary performances. I was quite impressed at how quick and easy it was to get in here once I had the tickets loaded on my phone. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I was surprised that well drinks were only $8 on the night I went, and they have complimentary popcorn baskets at the bar. I don't love that you are not allowed to bring in water bottles, but think this is par for the course for music clubs. The sound quality, and small size of the standing room only area made for an amazing and interactive show. I highly recommend this venue based on my visit there, and personally look forward to my next chance to go to the Roxy!
My second time here cool small and intimate which I like. The only reason why I give it 3 stars is the pricing for the VIP is pretty expensive. I went for a show in the middle of the week and I was expecting to eat and sit, but it was VIP only so I stood the whole time, but there should be an option for people that are willing to sit down and eat and not have to pay an extra $150. For the weekends, it’s understandable but on a Wednesday night not so much.
Great venue! Easy parking right across the street. The only thing that surprised us was there is no seating at all, I mean non what so ever. Standing for 4 hours was a bit rough on our older knees but the show was great. Carry the Day opened, however their sound at the mixing board was muddy and not blended well. Not bad but noticeable to us. As the night moved on the sound improved.
A great place to catch a show, though security was a bit uptight when we attended. They just seemed to have no personality whatsoever, and despite the band signing autographs/taking pictures with fans after the show ended, the overzealous security team tried to push people out. Not really impressed by the entire security team. Everyone else that we came across seemed relatively pleasant. The sound and lighting are pretty decent here. I do appreciate the water bottles being actual bottles with lids to prevent spilling. There is limited seating and it seems it’s a first come first served type of seating. All this said, the pros outweigh the cons and I’m certain we will return for future events.
Great Place, Decent Sound & Close Parking (Be There Early✅️).
Was there for Burnout Syndromes. Parking nearby is tricky, nearly got my rental locked in some business offices across the street. Once Roxy opened their parking lot, it was all good. At a very intimate stage, an artist really can get up on your face. I would go again! Update: Attended the LiSA: Another Great Day North America Tour. It was amazing! The only difference was that I came way later than I would normally go to events like this. There were vip booths that weren't available online. I saw the vip and general admission line and I got bummed out. Until I kept getting harassed by the security to get in the back of the line. He told me three times. It wasn't until the third time that there was a lady who was selling the VIP boots, which happened to be in the vicinity. It cost me an extra $150, It was totally worth it! I got there around 3:00 in the evening and got charged $40. $20 is day parking, $20 is for evening parking which if you park at daytime for $20, I shouldn't have been charged for even though I'm parked throughout the evening, thoughts?
