Radisson Hotel Akron - Fairlawn

My boyfriend and I got a room for my birthday outside looks really nice and big when you first step in looks good and smells good . When I checked in I had to wait almost 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk . My card didn’t want to work for the pool room or my room so I ended up with four cards just to try to get in my room and pool. They are short staff but shouldn’t cut corners . I work at a hotel so I happen to notice a lot the room was pretty clean but linen wise was dirty . I had no king topper I had a sheet that keep me cold all night even though I set the room at 90 ! Even the shower was cold barely got hot .When I moved the shower curtain a dried used rag fell on my head ..The pool downstairs was way warmer ! The only enjoyment I got was the pool ! the hot tub was ice cold even when I set the timer to 60 to get warm took forever ! It didn’t help that there were no towels and when I asked for a key to the pool and towels they said they didn’t have any so thank God my boyfriend had gotten us a set before going down .. this could be an amazing hotel ! This was some of my linen I couldn’t use since it was so bad worst in person wish I could’ve gotten a refund.

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. The experience was nothing like what was advertised online. One of the main reasons we booked was for the pool, only to find out upon arrival that it is permanently closed — something that was never disclosed beforehand. To make matters worse, the room we were initially given had a plumber actively doing work inside, which was both inconvenient and completely unprofessional. When we finally got settled, the cleanliness was very concerning. The sheets looked like they had just been used and not properly changed, which made the room feel unsanitary and uncomfortable. On top of everything else, the entire hotel had a strong, unpleasant odor that made the stay even worse. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience due to inaccurate advertising, poor cleanliness, and lack of proper preparation for guests. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made

Clean room very spacious so big that I had to block off the other room for my animals. Easy access to get outside and walk the animals. Some glass from people throwing stuff from the balconies. Not enough towels or wash clothes. Very clean friendly nice people that run into this place. Will come back for another weekend away from home. May bring my own towels next time outside of my own cleaning supplies. Just some things needed to clean. Nothing major. I'm enjoying myself I feel very comfortable and very safe

Honestly, I wish I could give half a star. Very disappointed. Paid for early check in, room was filthy so we paid for it and still had to leave so they could clean before we could even bring our things in. Roof was leaking, they never stated the pool was closed when we went in and even though they "cleaned" our room, found a PUBE on the bed. I have honestly never been more disgusted in my life. Also did not get a refund for ANY of it which is upsetting because we left after 30 minutes of being there because we were so unhappy with our "stay" .

The room was dirty. The shower had hair all over the place. The curtains have dirt all over them. My room key didn't work several times. The first room I had had a chair in the middle of the floor. The beds are hard. The one bed had tobacco on it. A horrible place to stay

The entire visit at this hotel was garbage. Amenities are not as advertised, they have decided to close the hot tub permanently, the fitness room machines are covered in Rust (the ones that are actually operable) switched rooms three times each room either had a broken lamp or broken bed could not find staff in between room changes because they were in the fitness room attempting to stay warm (not sure if they even had the heater on in the lobby) attempted to dispute the charge with my credit card company they needed to contact the hotel to get that approved, they declined. I would recommend staying far away from this hotel unless you are incredibly desperate only stayed overnight because it was getting too late to try and rebook incredibly dissatisfied. As an addendum to this review after receiving feedback from the new management, when you had an opportunity to make it right by approving the requested refund by my credit card company you didn't, how about instead of refusing my refund through the credit cards you just go ahead and refund me I don't want to stay at this property again.

The absolute most ridiculous stat of my life. No hot water for morning shower. Coffee pot hadn’t been cleaned in a month. No one at checkout for over 30 minutes. I just left and called back for checkout. I asked for a refund or discount. Was told he couldn’t do that until he talked to manager who ONLY works on n Mondays???? I don’t recommend this hotel. You can do much better.
