Ann Arbor Regent Hotel & Suites

We stay at The Regent quite often as we have multiple appointments at University Hospital. It’s one of the few hotels in the area to provide free shuttle service. Everything is meticulously clean from lobby to rooms to the shuttle. Staff is very responsive and helpful. The manager is excellent. We have had him drive the shuttle himself and have gotten to know him quite well. Recently we did have an issue that he resolved. He didn’t have to, the mistake was ours. We certainly appreciated his response.

Positive: The room was ready when I arrived.Housekeeping staff was very friendly. Negative: The carpets could be cleaned in the hotel both in the hallways and in the room.Did not receive a copy of my folio. No one was at the desk when I checked out.I didn't get to eat breakfast because there was such a long line and I had a schedule to keep.

A very clean and lovely hotel. If I'm ever in Ann Arbor again, this is where I'll stay. Wonderful pool and jacuzzi area, a game room suitable for the adults and older kids, a hot breakfast in the morning. A lot of people were staying here with kids on the weekend (myself included), so I suggest that adults looking for peace and quiet in the pool/jacuzzi area wait until a few hours after check-in, after the little ones have left the area (just my observations from a Saturday night). A great hotel with something to offer for everyone.

we stay here often about 1 weekend a month and my only complaint it that a hotel this size and sleeps that many people, has a lobby twice the size of the breakfast area. you have to wait in line to get any type of food or drink and then stand to eat it or wait for a seat. but everything else is truly perfect. pool and hot tub are always working. clean rooms plenty of towels at the pool area. staff are super friendly and give great directions.

We stayed in a double queen room on 11-08-25. We loved our stay and didn't want it to end. The hotel is fantastic. It will be our only choice for future visits. It is a beautiful hotel, both inside and out. It is clean, well maintained, smells great, with soft beds and many fluffy pillows. Our room was nice and toasty. The hotel has unique amenities like a pool table, a hot tub by the pool and a heat lamp in the bathroom. There is a workout room and the vending machines worked well. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was good and is always a welcomed amenity. I'd rather have scrambled eggs and a pancake maker though. My only suggestion is that the area where breakfast is served, should be bigger. I do understand that having extras that most hotels don't offer, makes it challenging to find room for a bigger breakfast area. It was just frustrating that there were so many of us in such a small space. I would love to see that updated on future vists.

This hotel saved the day for me and my husband. We were originally supposed to be staying across the street. That hotel was unpleasant. Horrible feeling the moment you walked in. My husband and I refused to stay. We easily came across Ann Arbor Regent, and decided to try our luck. The front desk staff was so kind and understanding. They were able to provide us with exactly what we needed. Our uneasiness from the previous hotel was very obvious, but that melted away when we got to our room. The staff even provided us with fresh baked cookies. What seems like a small or insignificant gesture, brought a whole new level of warmth to our stay. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. I love the vintage style. Not dated or old, but very classy. I wished I would have had the chance to utilize the pool table! I know exactly where to stay the next time I’m in Ann Arbor.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was adequate and coffee available all day. I stayed because I was having a procedure at U of M hospital and the free shuttle was a perfect solution. Under different circumstances I would have enjoyed using the pool area and game room.
