The Kensington was a great find. The rooms are actually kept clean, which is a huge plus, and the staff are just genuinely nice people. We grabbed dinner at the restaurant and the food was surprisingly good. Definitely worth hitting up! What really stood out, though, was the GM. They’re actually around and clearly on top of things; if you need something, they just get it done without any fuss. Super solid stay, would definitely stay here again when in Ann Arbor.

Positive: "" Negative: Pool could have been a lot warmer. Came here specifically because I remember the pool being so warm and amazing. It?s one of the only ones I enjoy going in due to a health condition/disability I have. It was unfortunate I couldn?t enjoy it this time.

Check-in was quick and easy, and we were welcomed with champagne and friendly service, which made a great first impression. The hotel is in a prime location with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by a maintenance issue. On the first night, we noticed water leaking from the bathroom ceiling fan. We reported it right away and were told maintenance would come the next morning since they were gone for the evening. Staff provided extra towels and a bucket, which we appreciated. However, despite following up with the front desk multiple times the next day, maintenance never came. We were not offered a room change or any sort of compensation for the inconvenience. Dealing with the leak for most of our stay made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the room. Overall, the location and initial service were strong positives, but the lack of resolution to the maintenance issue left us feeling disappointed. With better follow-through, this could have been a much better experience.

Not a huge hotel. But nice and comfortable. Close to UMich, many stores, restaurants and a mall nearby. They have a pool and hot tub. The restaurant has an awesome breakfast. We always order off menu but there is a breakfast buffet too.

This is a great budget hotel that is clean and convenient. William and Joe have great customer service. Staff are friendly and eager to make your stay comfortable and easy. Our family will be back!

Nice hotel. If you're tall this place isn't for you. The hallway and room heights are very short for some reason. Some wear and tear in halls and room. Bed was not the most or least comfortable I've been in. Generally clean. Attached restaurant is slow but the food was good. Service was not the best and billing was messed up pretty poorly for just two of us. Staff were friendly. I wish as two adults they would have put us in rooms away from two parties of kids roaming the halls till 2am. Not sure it's my first choice going back but wouldn't remove it entirely.
