Perfect location, restaurant in less than 5mins walking distance. Staff were amazing. But the room while huge was dirty & the curtains were broken. The sign directly outside in view was flickering, the curtain was broken & hanging so it didn't close all the way. The fix: I crossed the curtains the most I could & shoved the chair against the glass sliding door. I could still totally see it all night however, it no longer made me nauseous. Inside the fridge was opened yogurt & food with bacon hanging out the side. The room immediately smelled like yogurt & with nowhere to throw it away outside it's still in the fridge. Would we return? Absolutely!! Waking up to sea lions & rain on the water was such an experience! Such comfortable beds & I really want to go back & eat at that restaurant.
Positive: I liked the location Negative: It’s pretty run down. The bed was comfy but it looked like a teenage kid made it and from the appearance it was lumpy and disheveled. I thought it was gonna hurt my back from the apparently but it didn’t.
I’ve stayed here several times and absolutely plan to keep coming back! The price is fantastic, the listing is spot on, and the setting is truly beautiful. I like to look at the ducks and boats from the small balcony. Sure, some travelers want everything brand-new, but this place has always been clean, comfortable, and staffed by friendly people. The themed rooms have been updated. I have only stayed in the themed rooms because I think they make the experience even better.
Very nice hotel on the waterfront. Gorgeous views of the bridge and marina. The room was big and cozy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I locked myself out of the room and they came right away to let me in. It was very quiet at night. Peaceful and restful. I liked it and would stay there again.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, fairly quiet. We had room with 1 King bed, table with two chairs facing the marina. The bed and bedding was comfortable. There was a balcony, with two chairs, which actually sits out over the water. The view was nice of the marina and the bridge. |They had a large breakfast room with views of the marina. Breakast included sausage patties, egg patties, biscuits/gravy, fresh oatmeal, Belgium waffles, apples. |The office has a beverage bar that is open 24 hrs and has coffee, tea, cocoa, cider and a variety of juices.
The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the view was amazing. Fairprice! The only downside was the exterior — the sign outside looks quite old. I arrived late at night in the dark and almost canceled my stay because of how the outside looked. Luckily, I didn’t. The inside is completely different. (Exterior) Looks really can be deceiving
1st time in Astoria. We were pleasantly surprised in this Hotel. Every room has a view, ours was spectacular. It was rainy but good mild temperature so we could have our balcony door open and hear the storm and enjoy. The room was what you would expect on the docks. The room was older and worn a bit and the beds were not super comfy but for the price, convenience and view it was priced right. We felt very safe. The employees were friendly and professional. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. The coffee was very good, better then most Hotel coffee. We would stay again, perfect for 1 night traveling through.
