Best Western Columbia River Waterfront Hotel Astoria

Hotel was great . Great location . Clean and comfy . Staff was nice. |Sea Lions. Coffee and shopping at boardwalk nearby . Walking path and trolly pick up . Goonies house . The reason I gave 4-5 stars is due to the price point . We travel around the country and world including all major tourist hubs . New York .California . Asia. You name it all world class destinations with expensive hotels . So we are used to paying . The price point here was excessive .

Had a very pleasant 2 night stay. No problems at all. Room was very clean, spacious , and I enjoyed having a couch. Front desk service was excellent. The seals are loud outside but I could only barely hear them in my room with no background sound. In general this hotel is very quiet. I would stay here again when returning to Astoria.

Positive: The pool and hot tub are open 24 hours! That was perfect for us as we didn't get to the hotel til 10pm. The time when most hotels pools close. Negative: ""

Wonderful hotel. Awesome breakfast and friendly desk clerks and housekeepers.. i always stay here valentines weekend for an event at Fort George Brewery. I recommend this property. Right on the beautiful Columbia river, sweeping views and gorgeous sunsets! photo taken from our room on 3rd floor

I checked-in on line thinking it would be a faster check-in but it really wasn't. Our room key would not work, so I had to go back downstairs to have them reprogram it. The spa was not working 😕. The service was great. The lady had a smile and was very polite. Our room was clean and we had a very nice view of the Columbian River.

The room was super clean, the breakfast selection was wide and it was warm. There were high chairs for little kids. There was a sofa bed in the room for my son to sleep in. The bathroom was also stocked with shampoo, conditioner and soap, which were not the tiny bottles. The night receptionist was super nice and she even told us that the pool was opened 24 hours. We will definitely stay here again!

Had a great experience here. Lori at the front desk made sure that my fiancé and I felt welcomed and she was very helpful with checking in. Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Right across from the water, had a great view. Seals were kind of loud but with the AC fan going I slept like a baby.
