I cannot say enough great things about this hotel! They thought of every detail, including binoculars in your room so that you can look out at the ships and maybe get lucky and see some wildlife. The room was so cozy, comfortable, and spacious. Just perfect in every way! The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was excellent! We got bar vouchers for every night of our stay included in our booking and it was a nice way to wind down for the night.
We booked a water front view on the first level and woke up to light hitting the water and the bridge, highly recommend. Saw seals right outside our balcony, ships passing by, seagulls etc. very nice and quiet, staff incredibly kind and clear they love working there. Gorgeous interior, nice high ceilings and windows in the lobby. Complimentary breakfast, chef made personalized omelets, fresh coffee, you can make Belgian waffles, the works. The bathtub is divine, they have some bath salts for use too. Fluffy white robes and slippers. We really enjoyed our stay. We got a $25 voucher for the bar, had very tasty drinks we brought back to the room to enjoy. Would absolutely go back.
I recently stayed at this hotel at a rate of $500 per night, and unfortunately the experience did not come close to matching the price tag. From the moment I arrived, the level of service was noticeably below what you would expect from a property in this price range. Staff interactions felt indifferent and at times unprofessional, with very little warmth or willingness to provide genuine hospitality. For what they charge, I expect attentive service, clear communication, and a welcoming atmosphere—none of which were consistently present. The bar and restaurant were equally disappointing. The food quality was mediocre, lacking flavor and creativity. What stood out even more was the poor quality of the cocktails. The drinks tasted unbalanced, poorly mixed, and far below the standard you’d anticipate from a hotel charging premium prices. They would greatly benefit from hiring an experienced mixologist who understands how to craft a proper cocktail and deliver an elevated bar experience. For $500 a night, guests should feel taken care of, enjoy high-quality dining, and receive professional service across the board. Unfortunately, this hotel fell short in all of these areas. I hope they take these concerns seriously, because with better staff training and a stronger food and beverage program, the property could be so much more than it currently is.
Normally I dont give 5 stars but this place is amazing. The staff are all so kind and helpful with the goal of making your stay the best it can be. For example it was my wife's birthday weekend, not only did they leave card in our room but the manager greated us the following morning asking if it was her birthday, this was only mentioned 2 months prior during the reservation call. The attention to detail is on point. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend.
Our stay was so cozy and comfortable! We brought our toddler and everyone was accommodating. We did massages too in the spa and it was worth every penny. Easy drive to all the spots we wanted to see in Astoria! Definitely will be staying here for future trip trips to Astoria.
This was a fun place! The inside common areas are warmly lit, will appointed and fun. The rooms have great river views and stellar tubs and showers. The spa was well enjoyed. We traveled with 2 teenagers and 2 adults. You could spend an entire night just hanging out at the hotel noshing on the bar menu and enjoying conversation and river views. Enjoy!
This was one of the most fun hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Everything from the service to the views just created an incredible experience. I loved the bar staff, they were so friendly and knowledgeable. And the driver of the town car was so funny and drove us all around town, giving us our own private tour. The rooms were luxurious and I really felt like I was staying in a five star hotel. This is our hotel for future anniversaries, birthdays, and general celebrations.
